Joey Graziadei Reveals ‘Big Step’ He & Kelsey Anderson Have Taken About Their Wedding
The Bachelor‘s Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson are taking their time planning their dream wedding, but they are making significant progress amidst their busy schedules. Graziadei is currently hosting the Dancing With the Stars Official Podcast and training for the New York City Marathon this fall.
Despite a hectic season, Graziadei spoke with Swooon and gave a new update about his wedding to Anderson and their plans once everything settles down in their lives. The Bachelor Season 28 lead revealed the “main big step” they’ve taken regarding their nuptials.
Graziadei said that he and his fiancée have “just really started to hone in on trying to figure out the size and location” of their wedding. He added, “Nothing is obviously locked in yet, but we have a wedding planner now. We’ve been talking with them. We’ve been getting ideas out.”
The 30-year-old joked that he and Anderson have “never, individually, really thought deeply about what our wedding would look like, so we are building that as we speak together. I’m definitely more just trying to be the supportive person in this case, and making sure that it fits all of Kelsey’s dreams and what she’s looking for.”
Once they figure out what they want their wedding to look like, Graziadei knows they’ll be able to zero in on a location. “I don’t even know if I can give a timeline, but it will hopefully be sometime soon,” he noted.
The Bachelor couple has been consistently on the go ever since Season 28 came to an end in March 2024. Graziadei admitted that he’s looking forward to life slowing down so he can enjoy the holidays and a special trip with his wife-to-be.
“I definitely know sometime next year, we’ve already talked about taking a longer trip, whether it’s for a month or however it’s going to be for us, just to kind of disconnect and go do something on our own,” Graziadei revealed. “It’s kind of always how it goes in this business. The fall picks up a ton. There’s a lot going on, and then the holidays come around, and it slows down a little bit. And then there’s a little surge maybe around the holidays. I think that sweet spot is right after the holidays, kind of in the early spring.”
He continued, “I look forward to finding a time during that for Kelsey and I just to break away and focus on us. We always find our little moments, but I also think we need a big one here soon. We’ll do that when it makes the most sense.”
