‘Love Is Blind’: Did Patrick & Anna Get Back Together? Why Fans Have Renewed Hope
Hold up, did another Love Is Blind couple reunite offscreen? Season 9 star Patrick Suzuki shared a carousel of photos on November 24, and he’s clearly soft-launching his new relationship. Many fans are hoping this means he’s gotten back together with Season 9 Pod Squad connection Anna Yuan.
Patrick experienced a roller coaster during his tenure on Love Is Blind. Just hours after his engagement to Kacie Anita McIntosh and their face-to-face reveal, Kacie broke things off with Patrick. In Episode 9, Patrick showed up at the group hangout and had an honest conversation with Anna, who abruptly left the pods without saying goodbye to Patrick.

Did Patrick and Anna get back together?
No, Patrick and Anna did not get back together. Fans flooded the comments of his November 24 post about the seventh slide, which shows Patrick kissing a woman with the northern lights in the background, but their faces are too dark to see.
“Is slide 7 Anna?” a fan asked. Anna responded directly to the fan and wrote, “Respectfully and lovingly, no ❤️🫶.”

These two may not have rekindled a romantic connection more than a year after Season 9 filmed, but there’s no bad blood between them. During their one-on-one conversation post-pods, Patrick admitted to Anna, “If you stayed, we would have went all the way.” Anna told Patrick that she felt “really bad” that she didn’t say anything before leaving the experiment. “I probably should have given it more of a chance,” she noted.
Patrick stressed to Anna that he would have proposed to her if she had stayed. A confused Anna wondered how Patrick could be so sure of that when he proposed to Kacie after she left. “The facts are, you told someone else you loved them, which is okay,” Anna said.

Patrick told Anna he was “dead set” on her. “I knew I was going to ask you to marry me, but I think you would have said no,” he said. She replied, “Who knows? I don’t know.”
Patrick explained to Swooon that he had “already closed” the Anna chapter in his life before the rodeo reunion. “I wasn’t searching for closure,” he explained. “I was just, I think, maybe just upset and just being like, hey, almost like [to a] little sister, why’d you do that? Why’d you leave? Not a little sister. That sounds so weird.”
However, he admitted there were some unresolved feelings between them, but those “feelings weren’t as deep yet because she left kind of prematurely, so there’s a lot of shared experiences that Kacie and I had: engagement, really cool dates that you guys don’t see, the reveal. There’s things that I’m still kind of strung up on her, and then also just a little confused. I don’t know, a part of me was still a little bitter as well.”
Patrick later noted that Anna had “apologized a lot” after the fact. “She’s reached out, and we’ve had conversations via text and stuff like that. She’s been pretty communicative, which I can respect tremendously out of her,” Patrick told Swooon.
Who is Patrick dating now?
Patrick’s new girlfriend is still a mystery. After Love Is Blind, the 31-year-old has decided to keep his dating life mostly out of the public eye for now. “As far as dating goes, it’s pretty cool because I feel like I’ve approached it with a more confident and a more healed attitude,” he revealed to Swooon. “I like to keep that stuff private just because that’s really personal to me. I just want to keep that to myself.”
Why did Anna leave Love Is Blind?
Despite being in the middle of getting to know connections Patrick and Blake Anderson, Anna decided to leave Love Is Blind Season 9 in Episode 3. Since she couldn’t use her phone while filming, Anna was concerned that her parents would worry about her.
Anna was given the chance to tell her connections goodbye, but she chose not to. “I don’t think I regret it because I don’t think the connections were strong enough to have a successful marriage from there,” she told Tudum.
What happened to Kacie?
Patrick’s former fiancée ended their relationship mere hours after they saw each other in person for the first time. Kacie broke down in tears about not wanting to continue with the show. She later admitted to producers that she was not as attracted to Patrick as she felt she should be.
In Episode 9, Patrick told the guys that he asked for the engagement ring back, and Kacie “basically stopped talking to me.” Patrick claimed Kacie said, “No, you act like you’re the only one who’s hurt in this situation. I’m gonna keep the ring.”

“She never responded for a while, and then for me, that gave me the closure I needed, ” Patrick told Swooon. “That’s all I needed at the time. I wish that we could have handled it better, her and I, but rejection is tough and breaking up is really hard for both parties.”
After that text exchange, Patrick and Kacie were essentially strangers. He would see her at cast meetups (she was not at the Episode 9 group hang), and one time she told him that she was “remorseful” about what happened. “I can take that, but I already had the closure I needed. I’ll take that for what it is, and I’m not too upset with her,” Patrick revealed to Swooon.
