Bridges is based in Nashville, Tennessee, with McVey. She’s not in the entertainment business like McVey. She’s the social media manager and head of merchandise for Cold Beer Entertainment Group, per her LinkedIn. She attended Georgia Southern University and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2022.
Are Hunter McVey and Julia Bridges married?
Not yet! But a wedding is on the horizon! McVey proposed to Bridges in June 2025. The future husband and wife shared a video of the sweet proposal moment on June 8.
Bridges was completely surprised and burst into tears before saying “yes” to forever with the actor. “Forever with you,” the couple captioned the post. His 9-1-1: Nashville costars sent their love. Kimberly Williams-Paisley wrote, “YAY!!!! You did it! Congratulations!!” His onscreen mom, LeAnn Rimes, added, “Awwww congrats!!!!”

McVey recently opened up about how busy the last few months have been for him. “To be quite honest, over the last four months, there has not been a lot of balance between learning how to act, filming five or six days a week for 12 to 15 hours a day, learning new scripts, and new materials. I also got engaged during this time and moved into a new house,” he told Numero Netherlands. “So, I just smashed a ton of life events into a small period of time, and that is not the most balanced way to go about it. Traditionally, I’ve never been the most balanced person, but I would much rather be doing what I’m doing now and feel a little bit unbalanced than not have anything that drives me or gives me purpose.”
How long have Hunter McVey and Julia Bridges been dating?
McVey and Bridges have been dating since at least October 2023. That’s the first time McVey posted about Bridges on his Instagram. It’s unclear where they met, but they have both been based in Nashville.
In honor of McVey’s 26th birthday in April, Bridges wrote, “Happy birthday to my other half, the love of my freaking life🎂 You light up my world Hunter, you’re the most incredible soul I’ve ever met. Doing life with you is a fairytale, and we’re just getting started baby.”
