Who Is Conner Leavitt? Meet ‘DWTS’ & ‘Mormon Wives’ Star Whitney Leavitt’s Husband
And the award for the most adorable and supportive Dancing With the Stars husband goes to… Conner Leavitt! Whitney Leavitt‘s husband is in the ballroom every single week — with themed T-shirts and costumes — to cheer on his wife as she competes for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. We also couldn’t forget his incredible TikToks gushing over Whitney.
After Whitney’s latest performance, Conner shared a TikTok raving over his wife. Right away, he started tearing up. “I am so proud,” Conner said. He also noted, “Sedona’s gonna grow up believing that no dream is too big. Whitney, this feels like the start of something massive for you.”
During the October 14 episode, Conner will be joining Whitney and her DWTS pro, Mark Ballas, on the dance floor for Dedication Night. Fans were first introduced to Conner in the first season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives alongside Jen and Zac Affleck. He’s quickly become a DWTS fan favorite — and he’s not even competing! When did Conner and Whitney start dating?
The couple officially started dating in 2015, but they had met years prior. Whitney first crossed paths with Conner and his family in Georgia when she was on her Mormon mission trip.
They reconnected in 2015 while on a double date. When the other couple didn’t follow through on the set plans, Whitney and Conner had a night to themselves. They quickly fell in love and married in August 2016.
They celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary on August 20. “I can’t imagine ever loving anyone the way I love Conner,” Whitney wrote on Instagram. “Through everything we’ve faced, we’ve always come out stronger, side by side. I’m so proud of you babe, and so grateful I get to dance through this life with you. Here’s to us, always. Happy 9 years baby.”

“I could sit down and say all my deepest, darkest thoughts to this man, and there is no shame,” Whitney told Swooon. “He is my rock. He is my supporter, and even though some things don’t always make sense to him, he’s gonna be there to support me.”
What does Conner Leavitt do for a living?
Conner works at a hedge fund, he revealed to Vulture. His managers are all based in Dubai, so he gets to work from home. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University.
Do Conner and Whitney Leavitt have kids?
Yes, Conner and Whitney have three kids together. They welcomed their first child, daughter Sedona, in November 2019. Sedona was in the Dancing With the Stars audience for the first time during the October 7 episode.

Whitney gave birth to their son, Liam, in December 2021. Liam was hospitalized after being diagnosed with Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), a common respiratory illness for kids under the age of one. Whitney was criticized for posting a TikTok of herself dancing when Liam was in the NICU, a video she has since deleted.
“The first couple of days were scary, but he was getting better. So I’m thinking let’s do something fun and I made a video,” Whitney said in an episode of Mormon Wives. “People felt like I was using my child’s sickness for clout or attention.
Whitney and Conner welcomed their third child, son Billy Gene, on October 24, 2024. When Swooon asked Whitney if she and Conner were planning on more kids, she responded, “I’m out, girl. I’m all babied out.”
What happened to Conner Leavitt?
When The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 1 premiered, Whitney and Conner had just gotten back from Hawaii. While many of their fellow MomTokers were involved in the soft-swinging scandal, Whitney and Conner were not. The couple left with their family after Conner’s pornography addiction came to light. He also admitted to having a Tinder account and said he would send and receive nude photos from women.
His addiction had been going on for their “whole marriage” up until that point. “I had a real problem and it turned into something that really hurt my wife, and I’m so sorry,” he said on the show.
When fans began to question Conner’s sexuality, Whitney came to his defense. “Do I need to put out a sex tape, or something? Like, trust me. We’re good. Everything’s fine,” she said on the Off the Vine podcast. Whitney also addressed people thinking she and Conner have a “lavender marriage.” She told Vulture, “We know our marriage, and also if people do have lavender marriages, there’s nothing wrong with that!”
During The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2 reunion, Conner opened up about how he was a victim of childhood sexual abuse. “When I was a little boy, I was raped. And when I was finally honest with that emotion and that memory, everything made sense,” he said.
Conner continued, “That was a very difficult part of my past and something I’ve worked hard to heal from. And it still hurts. I know so many people carry experiences like that, even though they may not talk about them. For me, those experiences shaped me and developed really destructive habits, but they don’t define who I am today. What matters is how we grow, how we find resilience, and how we support each other moving forward.”
