‘Love Is Blind’: Inside Megan Walerius’ First Time Meeting Jordan Keltner’s Son

For Love Is Blind star Jordan Keltner, there was one incredibly important person whom Megan Walerius needed to meet before he could say “I do.”
During Season 9 of Love Is Blind, the 30-year-old single dad fell for 35-year-old “Sparkle” Megan, a nickname she assures us came from being one of two Megans in her Denver friend group. While Jordan argues that it became “super evident super early” in the pods that Megan was his person, the real test of their relationship came when the newly engaged couple returned to Denver, prepared to integrate each other into their lives both on and off camera.
While Jordan and Skylar, his ex and the mother of 5-year-old Luca, decided that both she and Luca would not appear on the show, Episode 10 revealed that Megan finally got to meet her (potential) future step-son for the first time. Following the October 15 episode drop, Megan and Jordan took us behind the curtain to reveal all the details about the adorable way Megan and Luca bonded off-camera.

“We wanted to be very strategic with introducing Luca to Meg,” Jordan told Swooon. “So, first, [it was] very important that we got Skylar and Megan together at dinner and made sure everything was kosher.” Thankfully, their dinner went well because the single dad shared it would be a “dealbreaker” if his fiancée didn’t get along with his son’s mom. He shared, “I wasn’t gonna do anything that was gonna jeopardize our coparenting relationship.”
After Megan got Skylar’s stamp of approval, Jordan and Luca took Megan to one of their favorite activities, playing games at Denver’s 1Up Arcade, before going out for pho. After that, they went back to Jordan’s apartment “because that’s where all the toys were.”
“Luca’s so easy to love,” Jordan gushed about his son. “He’s so well-mannered.” Looking back on their first interaction, Megan told Swooon, “Luca is just a little angel… He’s just exactly how Jordan described him.” From the first moment they met, it was clear that their connection was “natural and flowing.”
According to Jordan, Megan spent the night at his apartment a few times away from production so that they could spend time with Luca. “[Luca] woke up one day,” he revealed, “and he kind of got in bed with us and was in the middle.” It was during those private moments that Jordan realized, “Oh, this is what I want. This is why I went on [Love Is Blind].”
