Could a new connection be forming outside the villa? Since she split from Kenny Rodriguez, some fans have started shipping JaNa Craig with a different member of the Love Island USA cast: Rob Rausch.
Though Rob didn’t reunite with JaNa for this year’s Love Island: Beyond the Villa spinoff, the two have remained on good terms since they filmed Season 6 in 2024. In fact, during an October 13 Q&A, JaNa FaceTimed Rob on stage, inspiring a now-viral fan edit.
So, is there any chance that Rob and JaNa are an item? The reality star has officially addressed the rumor on social media. Find out what she said below.
Are JaNa Craig and Rob Rausch dating?
If you were hoping for a JaNa and Rob romance, we have some unfortunate news for you. In a fan-captured TikTok live video, Season 6 alum Kendall Washington spoke out on JaNa’s behalf. “Come on,” he said, responding to a fan comment. “Someone said, ‘Rob and JaNa.’ Guys, guys, guys. Don’t want to burst your bubble, but it’s just not gonna happen. I know some of y’all want that.”

Kendall continued, “NaNa, she’s gonna get with someone unbelievable, like a multi-billionaire or a top 5 athlete in the nation or something. That’s who NaNa needs next.”
Underneath the video, JaNa wrote on October 15, “Thank you kendall 💀💀.” If that wasn’t enough to confirm that JaNa doesn’t see a romantic future with Rob, she doubled down in a follow-up comment. “Rob is my lil brother love. Thats it.”
What is JaNa Craig and Rob Rausch’s history?
Let’s briefly reflect on JaNa and Rob’s onscreen history. After Rob’s connection, Andrea Carmona, was dumped from the island, he pulled JaNa for a chat in Episode 13. The latter immediately friend-zoned him, calling Rob “buddy” more than once. JaNa addressed the interaction during a post-show podcast appearance last year, seemingly dismissing that they had a friendship at all. It came after Episode 9’s kissing challenge, when Rob flirted with JaNa.
“So we had like a heart-to-heart as the only single people in the villa,” she explained on Chicks in the Office, “and we just motivate each other, like, ‘You know your person’s coming,’ blah, blah, blah. Just because we saw that we were both sad. Great talk. That was it.”
It seems like her stance on their relationship has changed in the year since they were in the villa together. When Elite Daily asked about a potential Beyond the Villa Season 2 back in August, one of JaNa’s suggestions was to bring back the fan-favorite snake wrangler, saying, “I love Rob. He’s such a good person.”
Earlier this summer, JaNa also told Parade that she was looking forward to watching Rob compete in the upcoming fourth season of The Traitors. “I’m so proud of him for taking that risk,” she said. “But I think he’s gonna do really good. Rob is really, really smart. People will underestimate him; he’s better than you think. I think it’s gonna be really good. I’m really, really excited for that.”
Why did JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez break up?
In July 2025, JaNa spoke out about her split from Kenny, who won third place with her in Season 6. “As you know, Kenny and I are no longer together. Please know that I have seen all the breakup theories and none have matched up to how terrible, disgusting and disappointing it truly is,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Discovering that someone you loved isn’t who you thought they were and that the relationship you thought you were building hasn’t been genuine since day one has been truly devastating.”
Many of JaNa’s castmates released public statements of their own in support of her, though Rob wasn’t among them. It’s safe to say, however, that Rob is in support of JaNa if they still answer each other’s FaceTime calls.
JaNa hasn’t disclosed if she’s found another love since her breakup, though she was linked to rapper Key Glock. In August, TMZ posted a video of JaNa asking the rapper if he was ready to go in the middle of an interview. The reporter asked if JaNa was wearing a “date outfit,” but she denied it, explaining that they were “just working.”
