‘Love Is Blind’ Reunion Shocker: Megan Walerius Confirms Baby Rumors Are True

Sparkle Megan may not have become a stepmom during her time on Love Is Blind, but that doesn’t mean the Season 9 Pod Squader‘s family hasn’t grown since her time on the show. In fact, at the Love Is Blind Season 9 reunion, which dropped on October 29, Megan Walerius confirmed that she is a mom.
On October 21, The Sun reported that the Love Is Blind Season 9 star was spotted with a mystery man and a baby outside of her Denver home. Naturally, the photos, which were taken on October 18 (before the finale aired), caused fans to question the identity of her mystery man and if the newborn baby in the photos is the Love Is Blind star’s child. Spoiler alert: The mystery man is definitely not her now ex-fiancé, Jordan Keltner.

Does Megan Walerius have a baby?
Yes, Megan confirmed that she has had a baby since her time on Love Is Blind. According to the star, her adorable baby boy is named Brooks. “He is my whole world,” Megan said during the reunion. She revealed the first photos of her son, who was two and a half months old when the Season 9 reunion was filmed.
Megan learned she was pregnant three months after she started dating her new boyfriend, Paul. She kept her pregnancy a secret for months. Her baby shower even had a no phones rule!
Before the reunion, The Sun reported, “A mystery man, who is not Jordan, was seen going in and out of Megan’s home holding a newborn baby on October 19 and 20.” It was also reported that “the man holding the baby stared lovingly at the child while outside.”
Does Megan Walerius have a new boyfriend?
Before the reunion, the entire Love Is Blind cast is not allowed to reveal if they are in a new relationship. (Joe Ferrucci and his new girlfriend are the rare exception.) For that reason, Megan had not confirmed that she was seeing someone new until the reunion when new boyfriend and the father of her child, Paul, made an appearance in the audience. According to Megan, they met through a mutual friend only months after her relationship with Jordan ended.

During an exclusive interview with Swooon, the reality TV star did make it clear that she intends to date more privately in the future. Megan admitted, “I prefer to keep personal life private now. I think this whole experience was just such a big deep dive into my personal life. I’m just kind of gonna keep that to myself.”
How long has it been since Love Is Blind Season 9 was filmed?
Could Sparkle Megan have gone through an entire pregnancy between when Season 9 was filmed and when it premiered? Absolutely.
Based on reports from cast members, it appears that Love Is Blind Season 8 and Season 9 were filmed back-to-back. Since it has been confirmed that Season 8 was filmed in early 2024 (Taylor Haag and Daniel Hastings will celebrate their second anniversary in March 2026), it’s clear that Season 9 was filmed over a year ago. Based on a photo posted on Mother’s Day 2024 that was clearly taken on the day Megan’s mom met Jordan, Cosmopolitan estimates that Season 9 was filmed in March or April of 2024. At the reunion, she revealed that she got pregnant with Brooks three months after she started dating Paul.
Why did Megan Walerius and Jordan Keltner break up?
Love Is Blind fans now know that Megan and Jordan broke up during the season finale, making these rumors even more plausible. During an exclusive interview with Swooon, Megan revealed the real reason she decided to break things off with the single dad. She shared, “Towards the end of the experiment, we had a few days where it was just Jordan and I, and sometimes it felt like he was just a different person. I think it became a lot clearer to me that maybe we weren’t as compatible as I thought we were, and that really scared me.”
