Hallmark Star Lacey Chabert Shares Rare Details About Her Husband & Their Family

Lacey Chabert is Hallmark’s Queen of Christmas, and she puts just as much thought into celebrating at home as she does onscreen. The Haul Out the Halloween actress has been married to her husband, David Nehdar, for over a decade, and they have a 9-year-old daughter, Julia.

So, how does Chabert’s husband feel about all the Christmas decorations in their house? The She’s Making a List star made rare comments about her life at home with her family.

Chabert admitted on The Viall Files podcast that she is a big fan of having multiple Christmas trees in her house. “I have to hide them from my husband because he’s like, ‘Enough with the Christmas decorations.’ I may have ordered another one last week, and I’m hoping to intercept the box before he sees it.”

The actress will be incorporating even more holiday accessories this year with her first-ever Hallmark collection of gifts and ornaments. You know Chabert and her family will have that porcelain ornament of Chabert on one of their trees!

While hosts Nick Viall and Natalie Joy were talking about their 19-month-old daughter, River Rose, and how she’s starting to talk, Chabert urged the couple to write down all the “cute stuff” their daughter says so they don’t forget it.

“My husband and I are always reminiscing. We’re like, ‘Remember when [Julia] used to say that word wrong?’ or, ‘Remember when she used to do that?'” she recalled.

Earlier this year, Chabert reflected on her marriage and revealed what makes her swoon. “It really is the little things and then, of course, romantic gestures are always welcome and always wonderful, but I think especially we’ve been married 10 years now and marriage is just knowing that we see each other. It’s feeling acknowledged and feeling appreciated and just feeling that love. It so genuine. I’m so grateful for it,” she said.
