[Warning: The following contains spoilers for Season 2 of Nobody Wants This.]

Whether you were a Gossip Girl girlie, a stan of The O.C., or a Veronica Mars aficionado, Nobody Wants This is the perfect show for anyone who grew up loving romance.

During Season 2 of Nobody Wants This, irreverent sex podcast host Joanne (Kristen Bell) and rational rabbi Noah (Adam Brody) continued to navigate their relationship, as Joanne toyed with the idea of converting to Judaism. However, Joanne and Noah weren’t the only couple to face challenges during the second season. In fact, almost every relationship during the 10-episode drop and one of Season 1‘s strongest couples didn’t make it.

If you binged all of Nobody Wants This Season 2 in one night like we did, it’s safe to say that you’re already eager for Season 3. However, we’re still a long way away from a Season 3 announcement, let alone an episode drop. Below, you can find everything we know so far about Nobody Wants This Season 3. Comment below with your favorite Season 2 moment, and be sure to check back here for updates on the future of the series.

Will there be a Season 3 of Nobody Wants This?

At this time, Nobody Wants This has yet to be renewed for a third season. However, fans absolutely adore Noah and Joanne’s love story, so we’re pretty sure that a Season 3 announcement is imminent. Plus, if there’s no Season 3, how will we know if Noah and Joanne’s “loser siblings” ever get together?

Bell seemed confident that the show would return for a third season. “The writer’s room is working right now,” the actress told Parade. “You never know if you’re gonna be able to shoot because that’s way above our pay grade, and they decide what shows are gonna be shot. But the writer’s room is writing it right now. That we know.”

Who is returning for Nobody Wants This Season 3?

While no casting has been confirmed, Season 3 would likely include the series’ main couple, played by Bell and Brody, as well as their siblings, Sasha and Morgan, played by Timothy Simons and Justine Lupe. During Season 2, Jackie Tohn (who plays Sasha’s wife, Esther) was brought on as a main character after having a recurring role throughout Season 1, so we’d expect to see her return as well.

Is there a Nobody Wants This Season 3 premiere date?

Right now, Netflix has not confirmed a release date for Nobody Wants This Season 3. However, the past two seasons premiered about a year apart in September 2024 and October 2025. For that reason, if the show is renewed, we’d expect to see Season 3 hit the streamer next fall, dropping all episodes at once, just like the previous seasons.

What will happen in Nobody Wants This Season 3?

The show could go in a variety of different directions. Noah and Joanne have dedicated themselves to being together no matter what after a brief split, so new challenges will likely be thrown their way in a third season. Brody revealed to Parade that he would like to see Noah and Joanne get engaged “relatively soon.” He added,  “I think if he could hit the gas, the pedal, in another area, that would be nice,” he said.

Now that Sasha and Esther have split up, will Sasha and Morgan finally go there? Sasha and Esther could go on separate journeys in Season 3, only to find their way back to each other. Maybe Morgan would get a solid love interest, and she’d just be a platonic bestie to Sasha.

Brody’s real-life wife, Leighton Meester, popped up in a cameo appearance. If the Netflix series gets a season, we’re going to need to see Bell’s husband, Dax Shepard, show up.
