Who Is ‘Special Forces’ Star Christie Pearce Rampone’s Ex-Husband?

Christy was an assistant coach for Sky Blue FC for three years before taking over as head coach in 2016, but he was asked to step down in 2017 amid players’ claims of verbal and emotional abuse. It’s also been reported that his relationship with Christie became a distraction in the locker room.
In 2020, Christy took on a new position as coach of the Racing Louisville Football Club in Kentucky. His contract was terminated in August 2021, and a 2022 investigation (the Yates Report) revealed that he had been accused of sexually assaulting one of his players, Erin Simon. His relationship with Christie was also referenced in the report.
According to the report, “A club staff member said the relationship made players feel that they did not ‘have anyone to talk to’ or ‘anyone to trust” because “‘everything’ players told Pearce Rampone ‘went back to’ Holly.” It was noted that Christy and other coaches investigated in the report had gotten into romantic relationships with their players, which sparked concern about how power imbalances were “desensitized” in the National Women’s Soccer League.
Christy has been banned from the NWSL for life following the investigation. It’s unclear whether Christy and Christie are still in a relationship.
