How do you apply for 90 Day Fiancé?
Turns out, all you need to do to apply for 90 Day Fiancé is send an email. The official TLC casting website states, “We’re looking for American men or women currently in the process of bringing over their international fiancés on a K1 Visa. If you have a tale of international love, we want to hear from you!” After explaining who they are looking for, TLC tells applicants to “email [email protected] for more information.”
What are the casting requirements for 90 Day Fiancé?
While applying for 90 Day Fiancé is as easy as hitting send, the casting requirements are far more limiting than series like The Bachelor, Love Island, and Love Is Blind. Due to the nature of the series, eligible 90 Day Fiancé applicants need to be American citizens who have already applied for a K-1 visa with their international significant other.
TLC is also actively casting for 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days and 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. When it comes to Before the 90 Days, TLC is looking for applicants who have an online relationship “with someone(s) overseas” who they have never met. On the other hand, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way requires applicants who are about to move abroad to move in with their international partner. How do you apply for a K-1 visa?
The viewers of 90 Day Fiancé know that the K-1 visa provides the structure for the franchise’s flagship show. So what exactly is the K-1 Visa? Per the United States government: “The K-1 visa permits the foreign-citizen fiancé(e) to travel to the United States and marry his or her U.S. citizen sponsor within 90 days of arrival.” In order to start the visa process, a United States citizen must file a petition to bring their fiancé to the country. Once approved, the petition moves to the United States embassy in the non-citizen’s home country for their visa interview. At the interview, the non-citizen needs to be able to prove that either they or their U.S. citizen partner can financially support them once they enter the United States. Buckle up because, generally, this process takes eight to 11 months.

What have 90 Day Fiancé stars said about the casting process?
From what we’ve heard, 90 Day Fiancé casting is just as likely to find cast members as cast members are to find them. During an exclusive interview with Swooon, single 90 Day: Hunt for Love cast member Elise Benson revealed that she was scouted to enter the 90 Day universe. “I got approached to be on a reality TV show, and I actually did not know it was in the 90 Day universe. I was told it was a dating show in Tulum with relationship coaches and a lot of hot singles.”
Cortney Reardanz, a 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 1 star, revealed that she applied after she was sent a message about the show as well. “It was like a very vague flyer,” she explained, “Like ‘Do you online-date abroad? Are you between these ages? Do you want to be on this show?’”
