Roger Howarth’s Wife: A Deep Dive Into the ‘Y&R’ Star’s Longtime Love & Their Marriage
Soap veteran Roger Howarth has made his way to the world of The Young and the Restless. The General Hospital alum is playing Mitch Bacall, the husband of Tamara Braun‘s Sienna Bacall. However, Mitch is actually Matt Clark, who has a long history with Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
The 57-year-old has been on the soap scene for decades, and his characters have had plenty of love interests. But there’s only one woman who’s had Howarth’s heart all these years — his wife. Get to know Howarth’s beloved wife, their family, and more.
Who is Roger Howarth’s wife?

Howarth and Stahler have been based out of Los Angeles since the actor’s run on General Hospital. The Young and the Restless is also filmed on the West Coast.

How did Roger Howarth and his wife meet?
Howarth and Stahler had the ultimate New York City meet-cute. They met in the Big Apple because he lived above the cafe where she worked. Stahler asked Howarth out, and they had their first date at Coney Island. And the rest is history!
Does Roger Howarth have any kids?
Yes, Howarth and Stahler have two children: son Julian and daughter Colette. Howarth and his wife have become grandparents in recent years.
“I have a grandkid who has taken her first steps,” Howarth told Soap Opera Digest in 2023 after his exit from GH. “I’m adjusting to the idea that I have a lot of potential [career-wise] and I’m not scared and I’m not anxious,” he shared. “This feels like a new beginning to me, and I really do believe that all things happen for a reason, and I have a great trust in that. It’s a very exciting time to be me. I’m just really grateful. I know it sounds a little cliche, but I really am.”
