Not only have they been cheering one another on in the ballroom, but Bersten posted a social media video in October where he referred to Slater as his “girlfriend.”
Of their decision to go public after months of keeping the romance under wraps, Bersten previously told Swooon, “We just decided to live our lives. I think you only get one life, live it.” Slater recalled that Bersten was the one to initiate their first public kiss, adding, “I kind of just was there and went along with it. Afterwards, a lot of people made noise in the audience, and I was like ‘Well, that just happened.'”
The two also have all of Farber’s support. “I’m really happy for [Emma] and Alan. I wish them nothing but the best. That’s all I can say,” he revealed in a recent TikTok.

Slater previously revealed that different timelines for having kids was the main reason her marriage to Farber didn’t work out. “It’s interesting because I do want to have kids, I just don’t want to delay Sasha’s path in having kids because I know that he is ready for that,” Slater explained on The Viall Files podcast. “I don’t want to talk about him too much because that’s really for him to say, but it’s about kids.”
Following her split from Farber, Slater froze her eggs while she took time to figure out what she wants from her future. “[Sasha’s] always been very much himself,” she added. “It’s me that’s found it difficult to understand why I’m feeling different.”
