Dancing With the Stars has sparked several relationship rumors over the years, and the latest is between pro Sasha Farber and Season 29 champion Kaitlyn Bristowe.

Earlier this month, the pair sent fans into a frenzy after Farber posted an Instagram video of himself and Bristowe dancing, which ended with a romantic dip. “Stay forever @kaitlynbristowe,” he captioned the Friday, November 7, post.

The video sparked strong reactions from DWTS alums alike. “Ummmmm ok 🔥,” former pro Peta Murgatroyd commented, while Sharna Burgess wrote, “Ohhhhh I absolutely thought this was a hard launch 👀 (is it? It is right? Please tell me it is!!)”

“Wait…What?! 🤔 What is happening here? I’m here for it ❤️🙌🔥,” one fan shared. A different user added, “I’m SO for this if this is a hard launch just sayin 😍👏.” In a comment of her own, Bristowe wrote, “Stay forever he says as he kicks me out 5 mins later. Jk. Thanks for the dance lessons and FEAST.”

Despite the steamy social media post, Bristowe clarified that she and Farber are just friends while speaking with Entertainment Tonight at DWTS 20th Birthday Party episode on November 11. In fact, she was unaware of just how much fans freaked out over the clip.

“I didn’t see the reactions. Were people being, like, a hard launch or something?” she said to the outlet. “Sasha and I are very good friends, and every time I come to L.A. I hang out with him and see him. And so, we always dance together. I didn’t know it sent people into a [frenzy].”

Noting that she and Farber are “great friends,” Bristowe added, “I love him so much, and [we’re] not, not dating.”

Bristowe and Farber danced again backstage at DWTS during the episode. “Go @kaitlynbristowe just like driving a Ferrari,” he captioned a November 12 Instagram Story clip of himself helping Bristowe prepare for her Relay Dance round performance with Season 34 contestant Andy Richter. (Richter and his partner, Emma Slater, were eliminated at the end of the episode.)

Bristowe made her Bachelor Nation debut on Chris Soules‘ Season 19 of The Bachelor in 2015 before becoming the lead of The Bachelorette Season 11 later that year. She ended the show engaged to Shawn Booth, but the pair later split in 2018. She began dating fellow Bachelor Nation star Jason Tartick in 2019, and the duo got engaged in 2021. However, they called off their four-year relationship in 2023.

Since her split from Tartick, Bristowe has been wrapped up in romance rumors with Bachelorette alum Zac Clark, though the two have never publicly confirmed their relationship status.

Farber, for his part, was married to Slater from 2018 to 2022, and the exes finalized their divorce last year. While Slater has since moved on with fellow DWTS pro Alan Bersten, Farber briefly dated his DWTS Season 33 partner, former Bachelorette Jenn Tran. The pair reportedly called it quits this summer after less than a year of dating.
