Love Island Games may be in the off-season, but franchise fans know that doesn’t mean the drama stops. A little over a month after Isaiah “Zay” Campbell won the second season of the all-star spinoff, he’s being accused of “scamming.”
Katie Dalton, aka TikTok user @katiedalt0n, started off her now-viral “storytime” by claiming that the Love Island USA Season 4 alum allegedly “took all of her money.” First, she alleged that she was in contact with Campbell up until his phone was taken away in the villa, adding that he was planning to “fake a situationship” once the filming started. Dalton claimed that she wound up being “the girl waiting at home for him” — not an uncommon phenomenon in the Love Island world.
They had started talking a year before that, according to Dalton. “About four months in is when he finally opened up to me about his money problems,” Dalton said in the November 17 video. “He basically told me that he didn’t have a job, he didn’t have a car, and that he had to eat ramen noodles for every single meal.”
Once Dalton developed feelings for Campbell, she started sending him the money he had asked for. “I was basically funding this man’s whole life,” she continued. “He needed rent money, haircut money, clothing money, food money, Uber money, basically everything, and he told me he would pay me back every single time.”
In the video, she showed screenshots of messages Campbell allegedly sent, in which he asked to borrow money and pay her back later. “I never received a single penny back,” she explained.

When it came time for Love Island Games Season 2, Dalton says that Campbell had nothing to wear for the show, so he took her phone and ordered clothes. She then added a receipt for the brown tracksuit he wore during the show. “I basically bought him new clothes to make out with other girls on TV,” Dalton pointed out in the video.
Once Campbell got his phone back post-finale, Dalton said the reality star asked for money to pay for his checked bags on the way home, and she shared a screenshot of the alleged exchange. According to Dalton, Campbell asked for funds to go to Disneyland with the cast and on outings around Los Angeles. She says Love Island hadn’t yet given him the $125,000 prize, and Campbell promised to reimburse her as soon as it arrived.
“Once he got paid by Love Island, everything completely switched up,” she recalls, later mentioning that she considered him one of her best friends. “He barely talked to me anymore and basically dropped me and never mentioned paying me back ever again.”
Dalton said they later spent time together in New York City, and she included the photo below in her video, but she paid for the hotel room. She then added a screenshot of her bank statement. She went on to say she got him free dinners, tables at nightclubs, and alcohol during the visit, and he had a hickey on his neck at the time. “We haven’t seen each other in months, and this is the first time that I’m seeing you, and that’s what you do?” she wondered. “Just so disrespectful.”

Dalton wrapped up the video by claiming that she’s not the only person that Campbell did this to, providing another woman’s screenshot of her messages with Campbell. “This man is a serial scammer,” Dalton alleged.. “He talks to girls and then, a couple of days in, begins to ask for money.”
It’s been two months, and the creator has yet to get any of her money back. She added that she brought the matter to TikTok “to get people to know the real him.” She added, “I know I was naive and stupid. I shouldn’t have been sending money to a guy that was basically just love bombing me into getting money.” Plenty of the TikTok users pointed that out in the video’s comment section. “It’s a lesson learned,” she said.
“I know you all thought you saw a changed man on this season, but unfortunately, he is still the same lying cheater from Season 4,” Dalton concluded.
Campbell has yet to officially speak out on the controversy, but about an hour after the video was posted, he did add a message to his TikTok bulletin that could be referring to the situation. “Gmtfo of drama.. some people thrive innit tho huh. Issa shame,” he wrote. Campbell has also since limited comment access on his TikTok videos.
