It seems like these Love on the Spectrum stars have changed Ariana Grande‘s life “for good.”
On November 18, Love on the Spectrum besties Connor Tomlinson and Tanner Smith attended the Wicked: For Good New York City premiere with Connor’s mom, Lise, and Tanner’s sister, Midge. There, they met “The Girl in the Bubble” herself. Turns out, Grande was even more starstruck by the Love on the Spectrum stars than they were by her.
In an adorable video posted by Tomlinson on TikTok, Grande is thrilled to meet Smith on the red carpet, running over to him. “Tanner!” she says, before grabbing her face in delight. Smith tells her, “I’m so excited to meet you.” Like the Consent King he is, Smith asks, “Would you like a handshake or a hug?” As Grande turns to Tomlinson, Smith tells her, “I know you love our show. He’s my best friend!”

Taking in their suits — Smith’s a pastel pink and Tomlinson’s a shimmering green, since we all know “pink goes good with green” — she tells them, “Of course, you’re Glinda and you’re Elphaba, that makes so much sense.” Hugging Tomlinson, Grande continued, “Hi Connor, I’m so honored to meet you. I’m so honored to meet you guys. Thank you for bringing so much light to everyone’s lives.”
According to Grande, she’s a longtime fan of Love on the Spectrum and follows both Smith and Tomlinson online. However, Tomlinson takes the cake of their mutual admiration, telling Grande, “I’ve been a big fan of you since you starred in Victorious.” Grande’s response? “No way? That is crazy!”
Following a final hug, Grande turned to greet Tomlinson’s mom, who told her, “Thank you for loving my boy.” However, the Wicked star turned their “light” back on to them, telling all three of them, “Thank you for everything you guys do.”
