Leading up to the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 9 Tell All: No Limits, fan favorite cast member Jasmine sat down with Swooon to discuss her divorce with Gino Palazzolo, her status on bringing her sons to the States, and her shocking decision to turn down her current boyfriend Matt Branistareanu‘s proposal. Turns out, Jasmine wanted the 90 Day Fiancé crew to stop Matt from proposing during the season finale!
“There was so much drama during the proposal,” Jasmine revealed. “After the proposal, I [even got] mad at the crew. I told my producer, like, ‘Why didn’t you stop him?’ She was like, ‘I could not intervene in this case!’ I was like … ‘Why?'”
When it comes to getting married again, Jasmine revealed during the episode that she doesn’t know if she can ever trust someone enough to tie the knot after everything that went down with Gino. Diving deeper into that truth, she told Swooon, “This is the thing. I’m still married to Gino. I’m going through a divorce. Gino is saying these horrible things about me, committing fraud, and never loving him. Those things really hurt me because I really loved this man.”

When it comes to Matt, she explained, “He’s a good guy, and he seems to really love me, but why is he putting this much pressure? I’m not ready to answer that question, and I’m still in that state of mind. I might change in the future, I don’t know. I’m not ready to think about marriage when I’m still going through an immigration process myself, with my children, and through a divorce. It’s crazy. As much as I care about [you], Matt, this was the worst idea you have ever had.”
That being said, Jasmine did explain that she is happy in her relationship with Matt, as it stands now. “I think that after my relationship with Gino, I don’t even want to label things,” she revealed to Swooon. “I don’t even want you to give me expectations or me having expectations. I just want to be in a state in which I have no expectations at all. If things work out, wonderful, and if they don’t, wonderful. I’m at that stage. I have shown him through time that I care about him, and my feelings for him are growing, and that’s it.”
