Xochitl Gomez Supports Robert Irwin at ‘DWTS’ Finale Amid Dating Rumors

Dancing With the Stars Season 32 champion Xochitl Gomez was back in the ballroom during the show’s Season 34 grand finale on November 25 to cheer on the finalists, including Robert Irwin. Gomez danced with Irwin during the 20th anniversary celebration earlier in the season, and their chemistry sparked romance speculation.
Gomez was seated in the audience for the three-hour finale event, and she also made her way backstage to hang with members of the DWTS family. She encouraged her Instagram followers to vote, and the actress even gave Irwin and Jordan Chiles a special shoutout with additional Instagram Story posts.
She also sent Irwin a special message just before the results were revealed. “I had the best time dancing with you, and let’s get that Mirrorball,” Gomez said in a video.
The Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness star was photographed with Irwin ahead of the finale. She brought him flowers before his final performances, as seen in photos published by DeuxMoi. They even shared a sweet hug!
Irwin and Gomez haven’t confirmed anything beyond friendship, but they clearly hit it off while working together. “We had the best time,” Irwin previously told TMZ. “That dance was so much fun. It was so cool to do two such distinct dances, one that was really slow and heartfelt, and then the dance with Xochitl, which was energy and fun. She’s the best. It’s been really great.”

Irwin is competing for the Len Goodman Mirrorball trophy with pro partner Witney Carson. His sister, Bindi Irwin, won Season 21 of Dancing With the Stars with Derek Hough. If Irwin wins, he’ll make history with his sister as the first siblings to win the dancing competition series.
The 21-year-old Australian zookeeper has been open about wanting a loving relationship like his parents, Terri and Steve Irwin. “I look at my mom, I look at my dad and I’m like, that’s it. That’s who I want to be. That’s a perfect relationship,” the youngest Irwin told People.
