’90 Day Fiancé: HEA’ Tell All Shocker: Did Matt Branistareanu Cheat on Jasmine Pineda?

Just when you thought you knew where Jasmine Pineda stood with both her ex-husband, Gino Palazzolo, and her boyfriend, Matt Branistareanu, the conclusion of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 9’s Tell All: No Limits pulls the rug right out from under you.

During the fourth and final part of the Tell All, Jasmine revealed that Matt’s mom had another woman, named Elizabeth, in mind for him to marry, even though she and Matt had already had a baby together. Even worse, Jasmine had become convinced that Matt had cheated on her with that woman. At the same time, Matt became insecure about his standing with Jasmine as the ice between her and Gino started to thaw.

Why does Matt’s mom want him to marry someone else?

Backstage at the Tell All, Jasmine explained to her 90 Day bestie, Julia Trubkina, that Matt’s mom has already been trying to get him to move on. She told her, “His mom told me something that I didn’t f**king know about Matt. She said, ‘If you cannot be his wife, I have this good Romanian woman, like I want Matt to be with. She’s still available for Matt.'” According to Jasmine, Matt’s mom is friends with the woman she is trying to set Matt up with.

As Matt put it, “She just wants me to accept anything that she gives me, right? But at the same time, she wants me to be committed.” He later implied that he thinks Jasmine and Gino may still have “mutual” feelings for each other.

Did Matt cheat on Jasmine?

After the Tell All, Jasmine told Yara Zaya that his mom hadn’t just wanted him to be with a Romanian woman — she revealed that he already was. Jasmine explained, “She told me when you started living with Matt, he was with a Romanian girl, and I thought that he was going to be with her.” According to Jasmine, he denied that he was with this “Romanian girl,” whom she referred to as “Romanian Elizabeth.”

Jasmine continued, “The first conversation that we had about it, Matt [swore] to God that, and he was even on his knees, like it was not true. But spinning my wheels about it tonight, I don’t know if I can trust him anymore. I’m starting to believe, at the same time he was being with the ‘Romanian girl’ [and] having sex with me, he was having sex with her as well.” After explaining her side of the story, Jasmine told Yara, “I’m boiling right now, and I’m keeping it cool because everybody’s telling me that… This is the perfect guy. But at this moment, I feel like I hate him. Yesterday, when he talked about ‘expiration date,’ it made me feel like, do you have like a wait list?”

Was Matt dating Elizabeth when he met Jasmine?

Matt maintained that he was not dating anyone when Jasmine started her open relationship to be with him. However, he could not remember if he was sleeping with Elizabeth then or not. Doubling down, he told Jasmine, “Do you think two is the most I’ve juggled or something? I’ve done 5-6 of them at once. They’re in love. They’re chasing me around. Whoop-de-f**king-doo.”

A producer later asked Matt who his ex-flame Elizabeth is. He responded, “We hung out for like a couple months. Nobody was going to get married or nothing like that. And I cut it off like within the first couple weeks that me and Jasmine were in the open relationship.”

Where do Jasmine and Gino stand today?

During the finale of the Tell All: No Limits, Jasmine and Gino got along far better than fans — and Matt — had expected. Outside of the house, Matt told Jasmine that there was an “expiration date” on their relationship if she did not want to get married. It was then that Gino stepped out of the house to (seemingly) sincerely ask Jasmine why she was crying.

She told him, “I don’t know. Gino, I don’t want to marry anyone ever again. This is my second marriage. Look at how we ended. I don’t want to go through this again. Maybe marriage is not for me.” Letting her ex in on far more than expected, she explained, “I don’t even know if Matt really wants to marry me because he loves me or it’s just because his mom and his Romanian community. So that’s what I’m crying about.”

Even weirder, the two then shared a laugh about the weather in Michigan, which caused Matt to ask, “Why are you guys getting along all of a sudden? This is so strange.” He then asked Gino, “You want sharing visitations? We could share her if she wants to hang out.” As Jasmine and Matt left, Gino seemed to remember that he and his ex-wife were feuding, and threw a half-hearted “you are trash” at them as they drove away.

So, does Jasmine love Gino or Matt?

Jasmine and Gino have been feuding on social media recently, so it’s safe to say that they are not on good terms today. However, in the final minutes of the Tell All: No Limits, Jasmine told Gino, “I don’t want to be with Matt. Things with Matt are at a very bad space. And the reason why he’s so mad at me is because I don’t — I’ve been forced to be with him, but I didn’t want to be with him. I never wanted to be with Matt. Even now that I have a child, I don’t even know if I want to be with him.”

Jasmine then proceeded to have her mic drop moment, ending things with Gino on her own terms. She told him, “Gino, whatever happens, this is the very last time you will ever see me in your whole freaking life. And from all the things you accuse me, at the end of the day, what really hurts me profoundly is that you said I never love you because I was obsessed with you. Gino, you are the person that — my love for you was so big that after you, I don’t think that I will ever love someone like I love you. Ever.” Of course, just as Jasmine poured her heart out to her ex-husband, Matt walked up behind them and told her that he was ready to go.

As Jasmine and Matt left the Tell All house, Matt confronted Jasmine, arguing that their baby might not even be his. He asked, “Can you imagine how f**king stupid I’m going to look if this kid is not even mine?” While Gino may be out of the picture (for now), this seems like the perfect setup for Jasmine and Matt to come back to the franchise for another season. And, honestly, we can’t wait.
