Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple celebrated their one-year engagement anniversary on November 14, and she marked the occasion with an Instagram tribute. A week later, they shared a joint social media post from a family trip to Disney World, which they were gifted after their time on The Golden Bachelorette.
But on November 27, Vassos posted a solo video from her family’s Thanksgiving, and Chapple was nowhere in sight. Plus, her speech in the cryptic post had fans buzzing that perhaps she and Chapple have broken up.
“So many things to be thankful for today… Thank you for being here with me on this new journey of mine!” Vassos captioned the clip, where she spoke about what she’s thankful for, but failed to mention Chapple.

“I was thinking that life doesn’t really turn out, like, the way you expected,” Vassos said. “In fact, it probably never turns out the way you expected. Mine certainly didn’t. But no one is responsible for making you happy but yourself. You’re the only one that can do it. I am just thankful I was surrounded by such amazing people [for Thanksgiving]. My family supported me in a way you can’t even imagine, and I support them. It’s a two-way street. I have the best friends anybody could ever ask for. And now I have this community that I never expected to have, and that’s you guys.”
The comments section was filled with people asking where Chapple was, and many flat-out speculating that the two had called it quits. “From what you’re saying, I think you aren’t with Chock anymore. Things don’t always work out but I wish you love in the future,” one person wrote. Another said, “So sorry for your break up,” and someone else commented, “Where is Chock?”
However, someone who claimed to be Vassos’ hairdresser, also said, “Girl she’s a personal friend of mine and I am her hairdresser so trust me they are together.”
Things certainly seemed to be going fine at the time of the November 14 anniversary post, which Vassos captioned, “So grateful for all the memories we’ve made and thankful to have you by my side on this journey together. I love falling in love again and again with you every day,” and Chapple commented, “Somehow the moments off-camera have been even sweeter. Grateful for every flight, every laugh, and every tiny in-between memory we’ve collected along the way! Love you Joan!”
