If you’ve been on the internet at all in the past month, there’s a good chance that you’ve seen three guys in pink tracksuits singing about getting their friend, Darshan, a visa. If you just read that sentence and thought WTF, don’t worry, we’ll fill you in.
TikTok’s newest sensation is Boy Throb, a boy band consisting of four content creators: Evan Papier, Zachary Sobania, Anthony Key, and Darshan Magdum. While Boy Throb has made it clear that their dream is to one day win a Grammy, they are currently in the process of gaining followers and social media traction in order to prove that their fourth band member, Darshan, qualifies for a U.S. visa, as he currently lives in India. Boy Throb’s videos frequently feature the three American Boy Throb members dancing in sync, with Darshan taking solos by appearing on a green screen or video call.

What is Boy Throb?
During their debut video, Boy Throb introduced themselves as the world’s “next biggest Boy Band.” In their signature pink tracksuits and bright yellow sneakers, Evan, Zachary, and Anthony introduced themselves before flipping to a video call with their fourth member, Darshan, who waved, explaining, “I’m Darshan. I’m stuck in India.” In the video, Evan, Zachary, and Anthony revealed that they each flew to California to rent a house in Hollywood. However, they feel “incomplete without Darshan.” According to their immigration lawyer, Dana, they needed one million followers “in order for Darshan to be given a visa.”
Given their signature outfits, visa-based covers, and overall goofy vibes, many have questioned if Boy Throb is a real band or simply “satire.” After their first public performance at a local nursing home, the band dispelled these rumors, writing, “We know our content can seem playful and fun, but comments like this really affect us, as we are aspiring to be legitimate artists.” Currently, Boy Throb is in the process of writing their first original song.

Evan Papier
Evan Papier is a 23-year-old content creator from Nashville, Tennessee. Evan is known for dancing and singing covers on TikTok. On his own, Evan has garnered over 700,000 followers on TikTok. According to Evan’s longtime followers, Boy Throb is no joke as he is incredibly earnest and dedicated to performing.
Zachary Sobania
Zachary Sobania was also born in 2002, making him 23 by the end of 2025. Aside from his prolific dance videos, Zachary plays the guitar and violin. Before Boy Throb, Zachary studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston and interned at a law office. On one of his recent dance videos, a commenter wrote, “I don’t understand how people see this and think Boy Throb is satire 💔😔 these boys have so much passion.”
Anthony Key
At 27, Indiana’s Anthony Key is “a singer, dancer, songwriter, and overall a musician who aspires to become a Pop Music artist.” Outside of Boy Throb, Anthony recently released a full solo album titled K-E-Y KEY! and runs a cosplay account called “Genshin Cosplay ASMR” with his sister, Nicki. In 2021, Anthony Key auditioned for American Idol with “Dynamite” by BTS.
Darshan Magdum
Darshan Magdum is a content creator from India who made it big in 2024, delivering his slightly off-tune covers with a smile. Since then, Darshan has found his niche singing pitch-perfect covers of songs by Tame Impala and Louis Tomlinson. Out of all the Boy Throb members, Darshan has the most Instagram followers, with 754,000 enthusiastic fans.

Are the members of Boy Throb single?
Naturally, any major boy band is going to spark one or two celebrity crushes from its loyal followers. To get ahead of the Boy Throb craze, which we are sure is to come, we took a deep dive into Evan, Anthony, Zachary, and Darshan’s social media accounts to see if they’re in relationships, and we found… Nothing.
