It’s been nearly three years since a new episode of Siesta Key aired, but fans of the show are still invested in the lives of the cast members. Alex Kompothecras was fired from the show in 2020 while Season 3 was airing, and although he’s stepped away from the spotlight since then, the show’s fans are still keeping tabs on him.

Kompothecras and Salerno have not officially confirmed the status of their relationship, but all signs point to them breaking up. A wedding gift registry website lists the pair’s wedding date as November 22, 2025, but the wedding does not seem to have happened. There are no photos from the nuptials and a fan on Reddit said Kompothecras posted a video of himself “fighting off a snake in his yard” on the expected wedding day.
Salerno posted photos from a trip to Hawaii with her daughter in early December, and Kompothecras is not in any of the images. Some fans on Reddit even questioned if she was on their previously-planned honeymoon solo.
One person commented on Salerno’s Instagram post, “I thought you were getting married in November!? Did I miss something,” and while Salerno herself didn’t reply, other commenters alleged that the wedding was called off after Kompothecras cheated on his bride-to-be.
These claims cannot be substantiated, but the lawyer has a history of infidelity. In fact, he even once cheated on Salerno with his ex, Juliette Porter, as documented on Siesta Key.
Salerno also unpinned the Instagram post about Kompothecras’ proposal from her page. However, she still follows him on the social media app.
When did Alex Kompothecras and Alyssa Salerno split?
The timing of their apparent split is unclear. They went on their respective bachelor and bachelorette party trips in October, with Kompothecras even commenting on his fiancée’s post, “You are so beautiful 😍🥵 🏆👰.”
The former reality star also commented on Salerno’s October 17 post about the death of her dog.
It appears that Kompothecras and Salerno split at the beginning of November, but nothing has been confirmed.
