Season 7 of Virgin River won’t premiere until 2026, and we can’t wait to see the next chapter of Brady (Benjamin Hollingsworth) and Brie’s (Zibby Allen) romance. Will Brie accept Mike’s (Marco Grazzini) proposal? Will Brady and Brie finally get a second chance? We won’t get those answers until the show returns, but Swooon has a little treat for all the Brady and Brie shippers out there.
Benjamin Hollingsworth stopped by Swooon’s studio, and we had to put him to the test about how much he really knows about Brady and Brie.
First and foremost, does Hollingsworth remember Brie’s drink order? “Oh, she has a beer,” Hollingsworth says. He’s halfway there, but it’s Brady who has a beer. “She gets a martini? I’m such a bad boyfriend,” he admits. The correct answer is… a whiskey sour!
The Christmas Ring actor quickly answers correctly to who initiates Brie and Brady’s first kiss (Brie!) and what kind of motorcycle Brady rides. While he doesn’t remember Brady’s favorite movie (The Sting), he does know Brie’s favorite is Legally Blonde. We love a man who pays attention to his girl!
Hollingsworth also took a moment to look back at Brady’s declaration of love to Brie at Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack’s (Martin Henderson) wedding. The actor instantly recalled Brady’s line that he knew “in the first 10 seconds” that Brie was the woman for him.
“It’s one of the most beautifully written scenes that I’ve had the pleasure of acting in and one that I feel like was six years in the making for Brady,” Hollingsworth told Swooon. “And for me, it was almost cathartic because I’ve been wanting to say those things as Brady for so long.”
