On December 8, Vince Panaro‘s ex-girlfriend Kelsey took to Instagram to answer questions and dispel some of the rumors surrounding their pre-Big Brother relationship.
From how they met to what their relationship looks like today, Kelsey bared all, claiming that the narrative that fans and the media had created about their relationship story “was all rumors and a majority of it was not true.” During her Q&A, Kelsey addressed whether she and Vince are back together after he confirmed their split, if they’re on speaking terms, her relationship status today, and if she would ever go on Big Brother.
In case you missed it, Kelsey’s boyfriend of seven years, Vince Panaro, was a houseguest on Big Brother Season 27. During that time, Kelsey and the rest of the BB viewers watched as Vince grew cozy with fellow houseguest Morgan Pope on the live stream, in a scandal fans dubbed the “cheatmance.” While Vince and Kelsey are currently broken up, both Vince and Morgan have maintained that they were just close friends.

Kelsey made it clear that right now, she and Vince are still broken up. Kelsey previously shared that she assumed no one would care about Vince’s dating life back home during his stint on the reality show. She told her followers, “In all honesty, I didn’t think anyone would care that Vinny had a girlfriend. I guess we were both naive in that experience. It seemed like it really kinda took over, and as somebody who is not on the internet that much, [who] is not an influencer-type personality, it really was quite overwhelming to put it lightly.”

Are Kelsey and Vince on speaking terms?
Yes, Kelsey and Vince are currently still friends. She explained, “Yeah, Vinny and I are cool. We really, despite all the challenges that we had in our relationship, [the cheatmance] was one of the first things that ever came up that was, like, a big deal, right?”
Kelsey continued to defend Vince, sharing, “Seven years together, and the majority of it was absolutely amazing, and he is one of the best people that I’ve ever met in my life. And I know not everybody’s going to want to hear that, because, unfortunately, it was his first impression to the world, but he really is an amazing person. So we’re cool, we talk, but we’ll see.”
Is Kelsey in a new relationship?
No, Kelsey is single at the moment. During the Q&A, Kelsey was asked whether she is seeing someone new or if she is currently taking time for herself. With a thumbs up, Kelsey told her followers that she is not currently dating.
How did Kelsey and Vince meet?
During her Q&A, Kelsey revealed new details about how she and Vince met. She explained, “We actually met via a FaceTime call through a mutual friend, and I just immediately loved Vinny’s aura and his voice, and he asked me a lot of questions about myself, so I was just kind of intrigued.” At the time, Vince lived in California, while Kelsey lived in Arizona. The couple was eventually able to meet in person before dating long-distance for a year. After that, Kelsey moved to California.

She joked, “Right when we moved in together, COVID started, which is what everybody wants when they first move in with a boy for the first time.” Over their six years of living together, the couple moved back and forth between Arizona and California for personal reasons. As she put it, “Long story short is: We only had one year of long distance, and that was our first year of dating, and then we lived together for six years after that.”
Would Kelsey go on Big Brother?
While Kelsey isn’t much of a reality TV buff — she revealed that out of Big Brother, The Amazing Race, and Survivor, Big Brother is the only one she’s seen — she would like to try her hand at playing Big Brother. She revealed, “I’ve seen a couple of seasons of Big Brother because of Vinny. I’d watch it with him, but I think I would try Big Brother, just because I’d love to be petty and try to win, you know, just to really take it home and have a full circle moment.” Kelsey, if you’re reading this, we are SO rooting for you!

Currently, there has been no word on whether Morgan and Vince have gotten back in contact after coming in third and second place, respectively, on Season 27 of Big Brother. However, the duo has finally followed each other on Instagram, so maybe a reunion is coming soon.
