After a season of highs and lows, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 7 stars Pattiya Phillips and Dylan Yeandle are finally engaged. However, ahead of the season’s shocking Tell All, Pattiya and Dylan shared one of their most explosive arguments yet.
Season 7 of The Other Way introduced 58-year-old exotic dancer, Pattiya, who moved to Tasmania to live with her longtime boyfriend, 38-year-old Dylan. While the couple has a strong foundation, with over a decade of love between them, moving in together in Australia brought their largest struggle to the forefront of their relationship: Dylan’s close relationship with his mom, Jo. While both Pattiya and Dylan dance for a living, Dylan sees a difference in the work and wants Pattiya to stop dancing in champagne rooms.
Despite their ongoing mama drama, Dylan and Pattiya took a major leap in their relationship at the end of the season. Scroll to find out everything you need to know about Pattiya and Dylan, including how they met, why Pattiya is feuding with Dylan’s mom, and where the 90 Day couple stands after the end of the season.
Are Pattiya and Dylan still together?
Yes, Pattiya and Dylan are still together as of the end of the season. In Episode 18, the couple took their relationship to the next level when Dylan asked Pattiya to marry him. While the season finale, Episode 20, proved that the couple still has some differences to sort out, as Dylan claimed that Pattiya sees her strip club customers outside of work. He told her, “I know for a fact you’ve got customers in your phone… You’re with them at the club, and then afterwards, sometimes you go back to the hotels.” While Dylan admitted he had taken things too far, this clearly struck a chord with his fiancée.
She told viewers, “This is extremely f**ked up. I know what he’s implying that I have sex with other men in the club. He’s calling me a prostitute.” On social media, it’s clear that Pattiya and Dylan are still together; however, during the preview for the Tell All, Pattiya teases that she may have left Tasmania.
Throughout the season, the couple has had arguments over her credit card debt and his frequent phone calls to his mother. Previously, Dylan had made it clear that he is not willing to propose until Pattiya makes an effort to get out of her high credit card debt, which she seems to blame on him.

From Pattiya telling Jo that she’s “a needy mom” to Dylan telling Pattiya that she’d better start picking her battles, the couple hasn’t had the easiest road. During Episode 14, Pattiya confronted Dylan’s mom, Jo, letting her know that she calls her son too often. She started by asking Jo after playing tennis, “How did you feel when you knew that Dylan said, ‘Mom, Pattiya’s going to be moving here,’ even though you knew I hated you and wanted nothing to do with you.”
While Jo was happy for her son, that would be a hard pill for anyone to swallow. Pattiya continued, “In order for me to feel comfortable here, I feel like I need to set boundaries. Like, maybe not call Dylan every day, three times a day.”
Later, Pattiya told Dylan that she had asked his mom to only call twice a week. He told her, “It’s your great idea. It’s not a great idea for me… It shouldn’t bother you that much.” Dylan’s response? “If respecting the woman that brought you into this world is a problem, I don’t really know what to say.”

Are Pattiya and Dylan engaged?
Yes, Pattiya and Dylan are engaged. Twelve years into their relationship, Dylan took Pattiya to Cataract Gorge Reserve, where he popped the question. For his proposal, Dylan surprised Pattiya, telling her, “When two souls are destined to be together, they’re bound by an invisible thread. That thread may stretch, it may tangle, but it will never break, because when something’s meant to be, it always finds a way.” Taking out a ring, he continued, “This ring symbolizes that thread, but now that thread is no longer invisible. It’s in plain sight for everyone to see.”
Of course, Pattiya gave Dylan an enthusiastic yes, tearfully telling him, “Oh my God, I waited for this twelve years.” On the day their engagement aired on TLC, Pattiya posted behind-the-scenes footage on her Instagram Story.

Why doesn’t Pattiya like Dylan’s mom?
Pattiya feels that Dylan and his mom are too close. As Dylan put it, “Since I was a little kid, mom and I have always been close. Pattiya has never really been close to her mom, so she doesn’t really understand that closeness.” He believes that Pattiya is fearful that Jo could influence him too much or take him away from her.
During their tennis court chat, Pattiya told her, “I feel like you’re a needy mother, Jo.” Quick to fire back, Jo told her, “Here’s the deal: I’m not needy. I’m not needy in any relationships. I’m actually quite strong and capable.” She continued, “Asking me not to call doesn’t seem normal… But I’ll do it.”
Why is Pattiya in debt?
After Dylan told Pattiya that he thought it was unfair for her to put a limit on how often he calls his mother, he asked her, “You’re worried about that? Why don’t you worry about $20,000 debt that you have?” Naturally, Pattiya fired back, “You got me into it. I’ve already told you that.”
In a previous episode, Dylan talked with Pattiya about “slowing down spending.” He explained to viewers, “If she has money, she’s going to spend it. All of it.” However, Pattiya believes her debt is due to his choices. In Pattiya’s own words, “When I met Dylan, I was in a lot of debt, but I worked really hard myself and was able to pay it off. But then we moved to Thailand, and we broke up 11 months later. I had to move back to the United States and start from scratch.” Now, she wants him to sell one of his investment properties to help her pay back her debt. In Episode 14, Pattiya specifically voiced that she needed Jo to “back off” when it comes to giving input on whether Dylan chooses to keep the property.

As Pattiya put it, “I never thought I would date somebody that was like 20 years younger than me, but his personality won me over.” She continued, “Dylan and I lived together in Las Vegas for about 7 years, but then he had to move back to Australia, do the visa stuff, and shortly after that, I moved back to Texas, and we’ve been doing the long distance back and forth, off and on.”
