After the spicy taco pasta incident, no one could have seen this 90 Day Fiancé reunion coming…

After attending 90 Day Fiancé‘s holiday party in New York City, Big Ed caught up with his old flame, Liz Woods, and they had quite the friendly reunion. This news comes nearly two years after Big Ed shockingly called off his wedding to Liz. They’re back on good terms. He’s even calling her “The One That Got Away.” Quick, someone put Katy Perry on the aux!

Based on Liz’s Instagram Story, it appears that she met up with Ed at a New York City bar, where the two sipped red wine while holding hands. That is, they held hands long enough to take the picture. After seeing the song Liz chose to pair with their picture, it’s clear this reunion wasn’t romantic, let alone a reconciliation that could lead to them getting back together.

Sharing their reunion with his followers, Ed posted a selfie with his chin on Liz’s shoulder. He wrote, “Ran into this one In NYC, The one that Got Away..!” Soon after, Liz posted her own reunion picture, set to the tune of Taylor Swift‘s “We Are Never Getting Back Together.” Over her photo, Liz wrote, “2 years later 😳 the reunion 🙈 everyone never saw coming.”

In May 2024, Big Ed sat down with Swooon and our sister site TV Insider to talk about his emotional split from Liz. He told Swooon, “I don’t regret calling off the wedding,” because “I knew three months prior that it wasn’t going to work.”

When asked if there could ever be a reconciliation, he explained, “Not this time… The way I knew that really I was done, in all the other breakups, I think there were only like thirteen, I would erase all of our pictures… [With Liz] I still have all of our thousands of photographs.” According to the 90 Day star, their memories weren’t as hard to look back at. Now, it’s clear they’re ready to make new memories together as friends.
