During the show’s panel at the Hallmark Christmas Experience on December 12, another cast member announced they were expecting a baby after lead Erin Krakow opened up about her pregnancy. This marks the fifth star of the show to reveal exciting family news in the past month.

Chris McNally
At the Hallmark Christmas Experience in Kansas City, Missouri, Chris McNally announced that he and his wife, Julie Gonzalo, are expecting a baby. McNally pulled out ultrasound photos to show the crowd during the panel. He revealed that Gonzalo, Krakow, and Kayla Wallace all got pregnant “within six weeks of each other.” He gushed that it was exciting to hear the baby news from his castmates and then be able to respond, “Us too.”

McNally and Gonzalo met on the set of the Hallmark movie The Sweetest Heart. The couple welcomed their first child in 2022.
Erin Krakow & Ben Rosenbaum
Something’s in the water! Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum, who met and fell in love on the set of When Calls the Heart, announced they were expecting their first child on Thanksgiving. “So much to be grateful for!!!” the couple captioned a post that featured Krakow and Rosenbaum holding ultrasound photos.

Krakow and Rosenbaum got married in June 2025, and this will be their first child together. On December 1, Rosenbaum posted a heartfelt message about Krakow. “6 months of wedded bliss. 5 months of growing our baby. 1 lifetime of love in front of us @erinkrakow,” he wrote on Instagram.

The first When Calls the Heart couple to announce their pregnancy this year! On November 11, Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace confirmed they were expecting their first child. “We can’t wait to meet you, baby. Premiering 2026,” the couple wrote. Like Krakow and Rosenbaum, When Calls the Heart brought McGarry and Wallace together.

Wallace then debuted her baby bump at the Landman Season 2 premiere in New York City. Krakow commented, “I can’t wait to snuggle this little McGarry!!!”
