A new Hallmark Christmas prince has been crowned! Craig Geoghan was named the winner of Finding Mr. Christmas Season 2 during the December 15 finale episode.
The Long Island native beat out the other hunky contestants to become the show’s newest champion, but they all won in the end. Craig and the rest of the studs are now lifelong friends after their shared Finding Mr. Christmas experience. In an interview with Swooon, Craig opened up about his road to victory.
“I didn’t want it to be a cakewalk,” Craig revealed. “So I’m glad there was competition. But at the same time, we also found camaraderie and friendship within that.”
As the new Mr. Christmas, Craig will make his movie debut in a Hallmark Christmas movie. He has a notable role in A Make or Break Holiday, which premieres on December 20. “I got to work with Hunter King again, who was in one of the episodes of Finding Mr. Christmas. We played brother and sister in the episode, and we must have done something right because we played brother and sister again in the movie.”

He continued, “She is in a relationship with another character [Evan Roderick] whose relationship seems to be going well until the holiday rolls around, and they start to butt heads a little bit. They split at the same time when both sides of the family were coming to visit, so they pretend everything’s OK. But as her brother and someone who’s close to her, I catch on very quickly, so it’s kind of my job in the movie to rekindle what they have going on. And it’s fun because he’s a comedic character, but he also connects with his sister in a lot of different ways.”
The Season 2 competition came down to Craig, Rustin Cole Sailors, and Angel Garet. The runners-up discussed Craig’s win and how it felt to be in the final three.
“I think at that point we realized that we were all really wanting this and had brought everything that we could bring and that any one of us could win it at that point, and that we were just so happy to be there in the final three and to be able to see whoever won it, win it,” Rustin said. “That’s it. That support system had already been developed through the whole season of shooting, and I think we were just happy for each other to be there.”
Angel compared the show to a “boot camp,” and the finale was “graduation day and one person gets the honor.” He added, “Basically, we’re all winners in a way, but one person obviously gets the honor of what, here’s a Christmas movie, but to see all of us shine, just like Jonathan said, and I’ve been saying it as Rustin and Craig have said it, if the person in front of you is shining, you are going to shine.”
