‘RHOBH’: Are Dorit Kemsley & PK Still Married?
Ever since Dorit Kemsley joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during Season 7 in 2016, she’s been sharing the ups and downs of her life with Bravo fans. In recent years, that included the time she was robbed at gunpoint in her home, as well as her marital issues with husband Paul “PK” Kemsley that stemmed from the incident.
The pair’s relationship is being highlighted on the current Season 15 of the reality show, but where do they stand today? Scroll down for everything we know.
Are Dorit and PK Kemsley still married?
Dorit and PK are still legally married, but they filed for divorce to end their relationship in April 2025. The divorce filing came 11 months after the pair announced that they were separating in May 2024.
Speculation that there was trouble in paradise between Dorit and PK began in 2023. The buzz stemmed from a rumor, which Sutton Stracke vocalized on an episode of RHOBH, that PK “may or may not have had a woman with him” when he was arrested for DUI in December 2021. RHOBH alum Dana Wilkey also alleged that Dorit was having an affair with Kyle Richards‘ husband Mauricio Umansky, which all parties have denied.
In October 2023, the Kemsleys released a statement shutting down the split rumors. “We remain committed to working through these issues as a united couple for our family,” they said. “We have not separated nor are we planning to do so. Rather, we are focused on healing, making changes and doing the things that many couples have to do at some point in their marriage. We would be grateful for everyone’s understanding. We are doing what we can to focus on the best interests of our family, as opposed to spending our time contending with rumors and hearsay that are not true.”
Seven months later, they announced their separation on social media. “We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together,” the former couple wrote. “We have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children.”
Why did Dorit and PK Kemsley split?
On the Season 14 premiere of RHOBH in 2024, Dorit told Kathy Hilton that PK is a “full-blown alcoholic,” citing that as one of the main reasons for the separation. Meanwhile, PK told Kyle Richards that he was now sober, which helped him realize that he has “a lot of resentment” towards his estranged wife.
Dorit accused PK of not trying to work things out in their relationship. “I chose to stick by PK’s side through a bunch of public scrutiny,” she said, referring to his DUI. “But for PK, it’s poof — let’s just get a separation. Isn’t there a way to meet in the middle?”
She told Erika Jayne that the decision to separate stemmed from a conversation that happened as PK’s drinking got “progressively worse” over time. “There was no catastrophic event, no one cheated on anyone,” Dorit confirmed. “A week ago, there was a moment and it was over nothing. One thing led to another and we sat down like two very mature adults who love and care about one another and mutually decided that taking some space and separating is the best thing for us.”
Dorit also noted that how PK handled her 2021 robbery took a toll on the marriage, as he was traveling a lot for work instead of supporting her while she was dealing with the aftermath.
How did Dorit and PK Kemsley meet?
Dorit and PK met in 2011. Their first meeting happened through mutual friends, although they didn’t go on an “official date” until a few months later. PK asked Dorit out, but she declined at first because she was about to head to Hong Kong for work.
“He asked me to postpone my flight,” Dorit told Wedding Style magazine. “We went out and have been inseparable from that first night.”
The couple tied the knot in March 2015 in New York City. They were married for just under 10 years when Dorit filed for divorce. The divorce filing came one day after PK was photographed kissing another woman in public.
Do Dorit and PK Kemsley have kids?
Dorit and PK share two children. Their son, Jagger, was born in 2014, followed by daughter, Phoenix, in 2016. Phoenix was a newborn when Dorit started filming RHOBH.

When Dorit filed for divorce, she asked for sole legal and physical custody of the kids. In his response, PK asked for joint legal and physical custody.
During the RHOBH Season 15 premiere, Dorit noted that PK has still been “traveling a lot” for work, but said he’ll see the kids on a Saturday if he’s in town. Dorit also noted that she wasn’t “surprised” her ex wanted joint custody, but said she’s standing by her sole custody request, adding that PK “does not have the lifestyle that he can have the kids 50% of the time.”
