Another day, another sibling love triangle. Prime Video’s Tell Me Softly finds high school student Kami (Alicia Falcó) torn between her two childhood friends — and brothers — Thiago and Taylor (Fernando Lindez and Diego Vidales). Though fans who have read ahead in Mercedes Ron’s Tell Me trilogy already know Kami’s endgame, the movie adaptation of the first book offers an open ending.
Since both Taylor and Thiago are still in the running, we’ll turn it over to you: Which of the Di Bianco brothers is the better option for Kami by the end of Tell Me Softly? Before you let us know in the poll at the end of the page, let’s recap Thiago and Taylor’s respective pros and cons.
When they crash back into Kami’s life after a seven-year absence, Thiago and Taylor couldn’t be more different from each other. Thiago, for one, is three years older than his brother, so he’s working as a basketball coach at Kami and Taylor’s high school. (A point against him, needless to say.)

He comes across as icy and closed-off whenever he interacts with Kami, and we come to find out that he (unreasonably) blames her for the car accident that killed his sister. It’s not a good look on Thiago, but his chemistry with Kami is undeniable. They seem to have a breakthrough by the movie’s end, but it’s not all resolved.
Taylor, of course, also has a connection with Kami. Throughout the movie, the younger brother acts flirty and warm toward Kami. Though his interactions with his childhood friend are far less charged compared to his brother, it’s obvious Taylor still cares about her deeply. He’s protective of Kami, whether he’s defending her against his brother’s resentment or watching over her after her dance-related injury. Honestly, we can’t think of many (if any) red flags when it comes to him.
At this point, do you think that makes Taylor the better love interest, or do you see the vision when it comes to Thiago? Has he gone too far to be redeemed? Let us know your take in the poll below!
