Are ‘7 Little Johnstons’ Couple Liz Johnston & Brice Bolden Still Together?
Since 2015, TLC fans have gotten to know the Johnston family on the series 7 Little Johnstons. The show documents the lives of Trent Johnston, Amber Johnston, and their five children, all who have achondroplasia dwarfism.
In recent years, viewers have gotten insight into Liz Johnston’s relationship with Brice Bolden. The two have kept fans guessing about the status of their relationship on a number of occasions, usually due to Liz deleting photos of her on-again, off-again boyfriend from Instagram.

Are Liz Johnston and Brice Bolden still together?
Yes! In fact, they actually got married on November 8, 2025. Brice popped the question six months earlier during a trip to Florida, and the couple wed on Liz’s parents’ property in Georgia. In an Instagram post about the wedding, Liz called it the “best day ever.”
Liz and Brice started dating in 2019. They met one year earlier after crossing paths in their neighborhood, where they lived just three houses apart.
Why did Liz Johnston and Brice Bolden split?
Ahead of the Season 14 premiere of 7 Little Johnstons in March 2024, Liz revealed in a clip for the show that she and Brice had separated (it’s unclear when the clip was filmed).
She said that their relationship lost its spark after they moved in together. “Us living together, it felt more like roommates when we were actually in a relationship,” Liz explained. “And I could not live like that because I am not a person who wants to be in a relationship where it doesn’t feel like there’s any love or any just, I don’t know, spark.”
She added, “I can’t do it with somebody who is just OK with being in a fine relationship, being in a mediocre relationship. And I can’t be in a mediocre and fine relationship because that’s not who I am.”
Clearly, the two were able to get past their issues, as they are now happily back together.
Do Liz Johnston and Brice Bolden have kids?
Yes, Liz and Brice are parents to a daughter named Leighton, born in November 2023. Brice is not a little person like Liz, and Leighton is an average-sized child like her dad.
“We would have been happy if she was little or tall,” Liz confirmed to TODAY.com. “I didn’t have any issues. Leighton so far has not had any medical diagnoses, any issues. We were very happy. Very blessed.”

Leighton served as a flower girl in her parents’ wedding, just days after she turned 2 years old.
The reality star has expressed her desire to add another little one to the family one day, as well. “I think one day when Leighton’s a little older, maybe closer to school, I can convince [Brice] for us to just have one more,” Liz told People in 2024. “One more try for a little person is what I tell him. Just for us to try, because we would definitely be stoked about having one average and one little someday. It would be hilarious for us to have a boy version of me since we have a girl version of Brice.”
