What To Know

  • Heated Rivalry stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams narrate Ember & Ice.
  • Ember & Ice is a three-episode romance on Quinn, an audio erotica platform.
  • Episode 3 has a new release date.

Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams have added gay hockey smut to their resumes — now they can say they’ve mastered the faerie smut genre, too. (Talk about range!) Days after Heated Rivalry‘s Season 1 finale dropped, Quinn launched its Ember & Ice audio, an erotic romantasy straight from Storrie and Williams’ lips to our ears.

After listening to the first two episodes, Swooon can assure you that Spiegel wasn’t kidding about the spice. Let’s just say, the sound effects are no joke, and Storrie and Williams don’t hold back in their line delivery. Hungry for more? Well, Quinn just announced a new release date for Episode 3.

Swooon has rounded up everything you need to know about Ember & Ice, including the plot details, the character descriptions, and where and how you can listen.

What is Ember & Ice about?

Ember & Ice is a three-episode MM (Male/Male) romance about Dane (Storrie) and Finn (Williams), rival fae princes from the Solari and Lunare kingdoms. Years ago, they began a forbidden affair — sound familiar? — that lasted until they were torn apart by war. Like Heated Rivalry, Ember & Ice is all about tension and longing. Quinn is giving the people what they want!

“This is our first duet Quinn Original, with the intimate scenes taking place between the two leads rather than between a lead and the listener,” Quinn founder and CEO Caroline Spiegel told Cosmopolitan. “The sound design is wild, and the spice is truly next level!”

When does Ember & Ice Episode 3 come out?

After releasing the first two episodes on December 30, Quinn will deliver the third installment on January 5 at 12 a.m. PT, aka late Sunday night. Set your alarms!

Who do Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie play in Ember & Ice?

Despite coming from drastically different genres, Storrie and Williams’ Dane and Finn share many similarities with Ilya and Shane. Like Ilya, Storrie’s Dane has a flirty, devil-may-care attitude. As a more distant heir to the Solari throne, he has freedom to do whatever he pleases, unlike Williams’ nononsense, duty-bound Lunare prince, Finn. Their personalities clash when they start living under the same roof — hello, forced proximity — but their friction gives way to desire.
