What To Know

  • Ezra Sosa and Jordan Chiles were partners on Dancing With the Stars Season 34.
  • They recently responded to engagement rumors by getting matching “just married” tattoos.
  • Their DWTS pals joined in the joke online.

That’s one way to respond to engagement rumors. After bonding on the set of Dancing With the Stars Season 34, Ezra Sosa and Jordan Chiles have taken their relationship to the next level — but not in the way that a recent article suggested.

Sosa shared a screenshot of a headline claiming that he and his former dance partner, with whom he came in third place on DWTS, were secretly engaged. In the December 30 Instagram video, he reacts to the article by playfully smiling, putting on a pair of sunglasses, and blowing a kiss at the camera, captioning it the “plot twist of the mf century” and tagging the 24-year-old Olympic gymnast.

But the 25-year-old dance pro didn’t stop there. Sosa and Chiles had the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever, and they delivered only a few days later. On December 30, the duo documented their experience getting matching “just married” tattoos. Sosa, who came out as gay publicly in 2022, couldn’t hold back his smile during their trip to the tattoo parlor.

He showed off his new hand tattoo in the Instagram video, while Chiles opted to get hers on the back of her neck. In Sosa’s posts — which include a short video — Chiles even takes it a step further by wearing a diamond ring on her finger. She can be seen wearing the bling while Sosa holds her hand mid-tattooing session.

Their DWTS pals wasted no time getting in on the fun in the comments section. Sosa’s sister Stefani, who was let go from the show’s troupe ahead of Season 34, chimed in.

“So happy I don’t have to keep the secret anymore,” she wrote.

It’s not the first matching tattoo in DWTS history, as pro Brandon Armstrong pointed out.

“I have a feeling this is the same as mine….,” he wrote in the comments, referring to the fact he and Sosa both got the elimination reactions of their previous dance partners written on their bodies. After his Season 33 celebrity partner, Anna Delvey, said she felt “nothing” after her elimination, Sosa got the word tattooed. Armstrong followed suit a season later, after singer Lauren Jauregui said she felt “pissed” upon being voted off the show.
