It wasn’t love at first sight when they met, but it was close: “I loved her after the third time that we ever hung out,” the 35-year-old told People ahead of their wedding. They’re still going strong several years into their marriage, with Ryan even serving as her husband’s muse for tracks like “Six Feet Under,” “i in country,” and more.

Who is HARDY’s wife?
Ryan is in the hospitality industry, working as marketing coordinator for Graduate Hotels. The 28-year-old San Diego native studied at the University of Mississippi and graduated with a degree in marketing and corporate relations in 2019.
The country singer, who was touring with Florida Georgia Line at the time, didn’t let distance stop him from reaching out. He spotted Ryan on his Instagram “For You” page, and started their conversation by “talking about San Diego and how she goes to Ole Miss and my family’s Mississippi State thing,” HARDY told People. “We kept in contact until I had a show nearby her school and told her I’d love to meet her there.”
They met in person at HARDY’s show at a local venue near the University of Mississippi campus.
“I saw him come through the door, and I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ I was just chugging my drink — I was so nervous,” she remembered of the night, according to People.
They officially began dating in April 2018, bringing up the topic of marriage early on.
“Once we met each other, there really was no one else,” Ryan said. “We never entertained anyone else. It was just so easy.”
After getting engaged in 2021 — at the venue where they first met, no less — the couple tied the knot about a year later. Ahead of their wedding, Ryan told People, “[HARDY] is very caring and very thoughtful and a very loving person. A lot of people don’t get to see that. It just makes it feel that much more special to me that I get to share those moments and sides of his personality with him.”

HARDY and his wife have had a special year. In March 2025, they became parents, welcoming their daughter, Rosie.

Ryan has documented their parenting journey on social media ever since, though they plan to keep their daughter offline for as long as possible as she gets older. The musician told Country Now that he and Ryan would take an “old school” approach to raising their daughter. “[It’s easy] to give a kid an iPad. We are prepared to not let that happen,” HARDY said.
