Are ‘RHOBH’s Kyle Richards & Mauricio Umansky Still Married?
It’s been more than two years since Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky announced they were separating after 27 years of marriage. They shared the news in a joint Instagram statement in July 2023.
Since the split, Umansky has been spotted out in public with multiple women. Meanwhile, Richards was romantically linked to Morgan Wade, and confirmed on Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that she had recently gone through a breakup from someone she was “in love” with (she did not reference Wade by name).

Are Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky still married?
Yes, Richards and Umansky are still legally married. Neither one of them has filed for divorce since their 2023 separation.
On New Year’s Eve 2025, the estranged couple sparked rumors that they could even be getting back together. An eyewitness spotted the two packing on the PDA at a New Year’s Eve party in Aspen. “They were really enjoying one another’s company,” the source told Page Six. “They had their arms around one another and were very touchy and warm with one another all night.”
The eyewitness also added that the two were “very obviously together” throughout the night.
Although Umansky has moved out of the home he shares with Richards, the two have maintained an amicable relationship since their separation. They have remained friends and work together as coparents (Umansky and Richards share daughters Alexia, Sophia, and Portia).
At BravoCon 2025 in November, Richards said she and Umansky were living “separate lives,” but added, “We are really grateful that we really love and care about each other enough that we put our children and our family first, and we’re able to go about this separation in a very amicable, loving way.”
Around the same time, Umansky told The Mirror that he and his ex are “best friends,” and he also didn’t shoot down the possibility of them getting back together. “You never say never. Never,” he insisted. “You never know. She’s amazing. She’s my life partner and that’s the bottom line.”
Did Mauricio Umansky cheat on Kyle Richards?
For years before Umansky and Richards announced their split, their relationship was often the subject of cheating rumors. “Of course, there’s always that little voice in my head, like, ‘What if this is true?'” Kyle said at the RHOBH Season 14 reunion in 2024. “People would say these things all the time.”
Umansky and Richards have always denied the cheating rumors, but she admitted that hearing them all the time made her feel “insecure.” She confirmed that something specific “happened” that made her “lose trust” in Umansky.
While she wouldn’t specify what that was, she revealed that she “hit a breaking point,” which ultimately led to the separation.
Why haven’t Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky divorced?
In December 2024, Richards opened up about why she and Umansky had yet to pull the plug and file for divorce. “That’s not something that we have talked about yet,” she said on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “The reason I didn’t talk about that on camera is because that’s obviously something I would have to talk about with him first.”
She explained that she and Umansky were still “good friends” who were living separate lives. “It’s hard, and it’s not something either one of us obviously feel comfortable initiating,” she added, regarding divorce proceedings. “We just kind of let it go and [we’re] just really good friends and we care about each other, and we get along. It is what it is right now.”
