During the December 28 episode of of Before the 90 Days, viewers met Jovon Fox and his wife, Annalyn. While the couple of 5-6 years has not actually met in person, Jovon made it clear that he and Annalyn are married. Looking ahead at the season, TLC teases, “With strong personalities and very different expectations around money, lifestyle, and gender roles, their first in-person chapter as husband and wife may be far more complicated than they ever imagined.”

Who is Before the 90 Days star Jovon Fox?
Jovon is a 38-year-old from Jacksonville, Alabama. He currently works in a nursing home, explaining that he loves his job, but it is low-paying. As for why he looked abroad for love, Jovon explained that he “falls short” of what American women are looking for: “Six pack, six figures, six inches.” According to Annalyn, her husband is also quite a looker. As she puts it, “Boy, the moment I saw him, he’s so good to look at. Yummers!”

Annalyn is a 38-year-old woman from the Philippines. However, as she is not, as she puts it, “the typical Filipina woman.” While Jovon argues that Annalyn has changed over the years, specifically having more positive vibes when they met, Annalyn claims she has always been “feisty.”

How did Jovon and Annalyn meet?
Jovon and Annalyn met six years ago on Filipino Cupid, a dating app that “has connected thousands of Filipino singles with their matches from around the world.” While they tried multiple times to meet in person, the pandemic and other stressors thwarted their plans. Ultimately, this led to them tying the knot.
When did Jovon and Annalyn get married?
At the start of Before the 90 Days Season 8, Jovon and Annalyn have been married for nearly three years. According to the couple, they got married during the pandemic over Zoom. Annalyn revealed that it was her idea to tie the knot on Zoom to allow him to “enter the Philippines border.”
While Jovon had doubts about getting hitched online, he made the leap, knowing she was the one. That being said, he explained that he wants to make sure he made the right choice in a partner before applying for the K-1 Visa.
