Which countries have their own Love Is Blind?

Love Is Blind: Argentina

Hosted by Argentine icons Wanda Nara and Darío Barassi, this Love Is Blind spinoff dropped on Netflix on November 6, 2024, perfectly timed to fill the void between U.S. seasons. Wanda, a beloved model and TV personality, brings the glam, while Darío adds the comic relief.

The show quickly became a hit across Latin America — though “popular” might be more accurate than “successful.” Let’s just say love wasn’t exactly blind or lasting. Fun fact: It’s the first Love Is Blind series hosted by two people not in a relationship.

Love Is Blind: Brazil

Or as it’s known locally: Casamento às Cegas: Brasil. Hosted by real-life couple Camila Queiroz and Klebber Toledo, the series premiered on Netflix on October 6, 2021, and has become one of the most successful international Love Is Blind spinoffs.

Expect fiery arguments, steamy chemistry, and some truly unforgettable meltdowns. In the latest season, one couple called it quits right after meeting face-to-face (literally our worst nightmare).

A special After the Altar episode dropped on December 20, 2023, reuniting cast members from the first three seasons for a drama-filled catch-up.

Love Is Blind: France

A bit later to the party than other adaptations, Love Is Blind: France (or Pour le meilleur et à l’aveugle) quickly took social media by storm. The series premiered on Netflix on September 10, 2025, and is hosted by Olympic athlete Teddy Riner and Luthna Plocus, a pairing that’s equal parts fun and unexpected.

The first season was a whirlwind of romance… and drama. One couple even split during the trip segment over height differences and her choice to wear kitten heels. Yep, apparently love isn’t always blind.

Love Is Blind: Germany

Germany has long been a reality TV superfan — just ask any Germany’s Next Top Model devotee — so it was only a matter of time before Love Is Blind landed there. The first season, hosted by Steffi Brungs and Chris Wackert-Brungs, premiered on Netflix on January 12, 2024. While it was popular, it still took a whole year to get renewed for a second season… and we’re all still waiting.

Fun fact: For season one, the German adaptation reused the pods from Love Is Blind: Sweden.

Love Is Blind: Italy

Announced all the way back in October 2024, L’amore è cieco: Italia has kept us on our toes. Married At First Sight didn’t exactly steal hearts in the land of wine and pasta, but Love Is Blind certainly made Italian romance go viral. Hosted by television personality Benedetta Parodi and sports commentator Fabio Caressa, the first season premiered on December 1, 2025.

Love Is Blind: Japan

Short but sweet, Love Is Blind: Japan gave us one glorious season. Hosted by entertainment personalities Takashi Fujii and Yuka Itaya, it premiered on Netflix on February 8, 2022. Unlike other versions of the show, eight couples left the pods engaged. Yep, eight! We won’t say which made it to the altar, or even further, so you can still go and enjoy this great season.

A second season was greenlit immediately after the first, but by the end of the year, it had been canceled.

Love Is Blind: Mexico

While the U.S. version of Love Is Blind usually sends engaged couples to Mexico for their post-pods getaway, it was high time we got to see singles actually living there. Hosted by celebrity couple Omar Chaparro and Lucy Chaparro, the series premiered on Netflix on August 1, 2024. And then fans had to endure a whole two and a half weeks before the reunion episode — can you imagine the suspense?!

This season quickly became a fan favorite, praised for its diverse representation and for challenging traditional dating norms. Yes, women can propose to men here, finally giving other adaptations a run for their money.

Love Is Blind: Netherlands

In May 2025, Netflix announced that the Dutch version of Love Is Blind was on its way. Casting is underway, so we’ll probably have to wait another year or so before seeing any pods in action. Given the Dutch reputation for brutal honesty, those pod conversations should be… spicy.

Also interesting: Marriage isn’t as big a priority for many couples in the Netherlands, which could give this adaptation a fresh, uniquely Dutch twist.

Love Is Blind: Poland

Another adaptation still in the works, Love Is Blind: Polska has confirmed that casting is complete and filming will begin shortly. While pod-based dating is new to Poland, the country is no stranger to reality TV, with hits like Love Never Lies Poland and Rhythm+Flow Poland.

Fans are excited to see Love Is Blind finally make its way to Eastern Europe, though there’s some worry the cast might lean more toward influencers and celebs than everyday singles. Fingers crossed for authentic pod drama!

Love Is Blind: Sweden

After lending its pods to Germany and the UK, it was finally time for them to shine in Stockholm. Love Is Blind: Sverige is hosted by Jessica Almenäs and premiered on Netflix on January 12, 2024, with the second season arriving in March 2025.

We won’t spoil anything, but let’s just say one contestant in Season 2 had the internet ready to ride at dawn for their poor fiancé! Think you know who it is? Let us know in the comments.

Fun fact: Almenäs is an experienced TV presenter and the only LIB host to handle the gig solo!

Love Is Blind: United Arab Emirates

Now this one is intriguing! With the UAE’s very different cultural attitudes toward relationships and intimacy, we were pleasantly surprised to see a local version. Love Is Blind: Habibi premiered on Netflix on October 10, 2024, with the reunion cruelly delayed until November. The show was hosted by Khaled Saqer and Elham Ali.

There’s no word yet on a second season, and it’s hard to predict if it’ll be renewed. The internet was not thrilled with some of the male contestants’ behavior, and many questioned whether the participants were truly there for love. That said, Cosmopolitan Middle East reported that casting is still reaching out to potential singles, so it may just be a matter of when, not if.

Love Is Blind: United Kingdom

Honestly, we’re a little shocked it took until 2024 for Love Is Blind to cross the pond — maybe the Americans were still gatekeeping their pods. Hosted by celebrity couple Matt Willis and Emma Willis, many fans claim they’re the best hosts in the entire franchise. (Sorry, Nick and Ness!) Season 1 premiered on Netflix on August 7, 2024, and was even nominated for a BAFTA, a huge win for reality TV.

Season 2 followed a year later to rave reviews, though some lamented the loss of body diversity that had been part of the original concept. Several contestants also made appearances on Perfect Match, keeping the drama going beyond the pods.

Love Is Blind: United States

The one that started it all! Love Is Blind premiered on Netflix on February 13, 2020, right at the start of the pandemic, which probably helped fuel its wild success. As of January 2025, the show has been renewed through Season 10. It’s hosted by married couple Nick and Vanessa Lachey, who also host The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On together, with Nick hosting Perfect Match solo.

Many former contestants have gone on to successful careers in podcasting, influencing, and even publishing books. A number have also appeared on Perfect Match, with some finding love there as well.
