Is Stephen Colletti in a relationship?
Yes, Colletti has been in a relationship with Alex Weaver since 2021. They got married in 2025 and announced the news in an October 3 Instagram post that year.
“It was a beautifully intimate day that was celebrated with both of our families by our side,” they told People.
Colletti proposed in Rome in November 2023 on the two-year anniversary of his and Weaver’s first date. They didn’t go public with their romance until August 2022.

Weaver is a host and reporter for NASCAR. She has been working for NASCAR in Charlotte, North Carolina, since 2017 and also reports on NASCAR for Fox Sports and SiriusXM, per her LinkedIn.

“My grandfather was a HUGE fan and never missed a race on Sundays,” she shared on Reddit. “That’s the background I had growing up, didn’t know a whole lot about the sport other than who I was supposed to cheer for to make my grandfather happy on Sunday afternoon.”
Weaver graduated from Clemson University in 2016 with a degree in communication and media studies.
Did Stephen Colletti date Kristin Cavallari?
Yes, Colletti and Kristin Cavallari were in an on-and-off relationship during their high school years. Cavallari was new to Laguna Beach during her freshman year of high school in 2001. She started dating Colletti the following year when she was a sophomore, and he was a junior.
In the fall of 2003, Laguna Beach started filming at the pair’s high school, documenting Cavallari and Colletti’s relationship and love triangle with Lauren Conrad. They broke up for good at some point in 2004 after Colletti left Laguna Beach for college.

As for Colletti and Conrad, they only briefly dated in middle school “for two weeks,” the One Tree Hill star revealed on his and Cavallari’s Back to the Beach podcast in 2022 (Conrad did not recall). However, she did confirm that they became close friends during their senior year and hooked up while Colletti and Cavallari were broken up.
“I don’t think I realized you guys were boyfriend and girlfriend,” Conrad explained. “I didn’t know you guys had a whole relationship. So then [Stephen and I] started hanging out again.”
Both Cavallari and Conrad also confirmed that they briefly had drama over the situation, but had put all of it behind them before filming for Laguna Beach even began. “You and I really never had any beef,” Conrad said, speaking to Cavallari. “Obviously, there was a little truth to what happened. I felt like MTV kept it alive and made it way worse than it ever would have been.” She reiterated that the two “squashed” their issues before the show, but said producers heard about it and “ran with it” because it made the reality series “interesting.”
Who else has Stephen Colletti dated?
From 2006 to 2008, Colletti was in a relationship with Hayden Panettiere. He also dated actress Chelsea Kane for more than two years before splitting in May 2013.
After that breakup, Colletti mostly kept his love life out of the public eye until he went public with Weaver.
