Pregnant Hailee Steinfeld was absolutely glowing as she hit the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 11. Before presenting at the awards show, Steinfeld walked the red carpet and showed off her baby bump.
The actress looked stunning in a sparkling, pink, long-sleeved dress. She was caught on video resting a hand on her bump as she got out of the car to enter the red carpet, then posed for pics cradling her stomach. However, she was noticeably solo, heading inside the event without husband Josh Allen. But the NFL star had a good reason for missing the Golden Globes.
Allen’s professional football team, the Buffalo Bills, is in the 2026 NFL playoffs, and they had a game in Florida against the Jacksonville Jaguars on the same day as the Golden Globes. The Bills played at 1 p.m. ET and beat the Jaguars 27 to 24, so they will continue their playoff run.

Of course, there was no time for Allen, the Bills’ quarterback, to jet all the way to California to accompany his wife to the awards show, so it was a solo night out for Steinfeld. This is par for the course when dating a football player (Travis Kelce was not able to attend the Grammy Awards with Taylor Swift in 2024 or 2025 due to his own playoff schedule those years).
Steinfeld and Allen were first linked in May 2023 and have mostly been private about their relationship. However, they’ve shared some of their biggest milestone moments publicly, including Allen’s proposal in November 2024. The couple shared a joint Instagram post with a photo of the sweet moment, which was captioned, “♾️ 11•22•24 ♾️.”
“We were in Malibu, which is my happy place, and it was magical. That’s the word,” Steinfeld told Who What Wear a few months later. “I’m so grateful that he did it the way he did so that I looked good, and we have these photos that we’ll have and cherish for the rest of our lives that I’m not looking at being like, ‘What was I wearing?'”
The Pitch Perfect star and her athlete husband tied the knot on May 31, 2025, and announced in December 2025 that they are expecting their first child. The announcement came in the form of a video clip that showed Allen kissing Steinfeld’s bare baby bump.
