January 11, 2026, officially marks the 15-year anniversary since the premiere of Teen Mom 2. The show featured four cast members from the second season of 16 and Pregnant, following in the footsteps of Teen Mom OG, which followed women from 16 and Pregnant’s first season.
The original Teen Mom 2 cast consisted of Jenelle Evans, Chelsea DeBoer (née Houska), Leah Messer, and Kailyn Lowry. All four of the reality stars gave birth to children while in high school, and MTV cameras continued to document their lives in the years that followed.
Jenelle was fired from Teen Mom 2 after Season 9a in 2019, while Chelsea left after Season 10a in 2020. The final episode aired in May 2022, but all four women have continued documenting their lives on social media (and some still on reality television) in the time since.

Jenelle Evans
Jenelle got pregnant by her high school boyfriend, Andrew Lewis, and welcomed their son, Jace, on 16 and Pregnant. She and Lewis are no longer together. In fact, they broke up during their 16 and Pregnant episode.

Jenelle went through many ups and downs on Teen Mom 2, including losing custody of Jace to her mother, Barbara Evans. She didn’t get custody back until 2023.
Over the years, Jenelle documented various relationships on MTV. She dated Keiffer Delp and was engaged to Gary Head before they broke up. In 2012, she married Courtland Rogers, but they divorced the following year. Jenelle then got engaged to Nathan Griffith and welcomed a son, Kaiser, with him in 2014. They split one year later.
In September 2017, Jenelle married David Eason. They share a daughter, Ensley, who was born nine months earlier. Jenelle filed for divorce from David in 2024, and it was finalized in July 2025. Jenelle’s firing from MTV came after David shot and killed their family dog in 2019 because the animal bit Ensley.
Leah Messer
On 16 and Pregnant, Leah welcomed twin daughters, Ali and Aleeah, with then-boyfriend Corey Simms. They were only together for one month before Leah found out she was pregnant. Corey and Leah are no longer together.
The former couple first broke up after Leah cheated on Corey with her ex, Robbie, but they eventually got back together and tied the knot in 2010. The marriage was short-lived, with Corey and Leah divorcing just one year later.

Teen Mom 2 followed the couple as they navigated coparenting after their split. Leah married Jeremy Calvert in 2012 and they welcomed a daughter, Adalynn, in 2013. In 2015, Leah and Jeremy divorced. Following the split, Leah dated Jason Jordan and got engaged to Jaylan Mobley, but she’s seemingly been single since their breakup in 2022.
Meanwhile, Corey married Miranda Simms in 2015 and they had a daughter, Remington, in 2015.
Kailyn Lowry
Kailyn was dating Jo Rivera on 16 and Pregnant and at the beginning of Teen Mom 2. The teenagers tried to make their relationship work after welcoming their son Isaac (who now goes by Elliott). Kailyn and Jo are no longer a couple, as they split shortly after Isaac was born.
Since then, Kailyn has welcomed six more children. She married Javi Marroquin in 2013 and their son, Lincoln, was born later that year. Kailyn and Javi split in 2015 and later finalized their divorce.

In 2017, Kailyn gave birth to a son, Lux, with then-boyfriend Chris Lopez. Their second son, Creed, was born in 2020. Kailyn and Chris had an on-and-off relationship that often resulted in blow up fights that flooded onto social media.
Kailyn secretly gave birth to a son, Rio, with Elijah Scott in November 2022, but did not publicly speak about the child until October 2023. Later that year, she and Elijah welcomed twins Verse and Valley (Kailyn’s only daughter). Kailyn and Elijah got engaged, but split at some point in 2025.
Jo married Vee Torres in 2018. They share a daughter, Velisse, who was born three years earlier. Jo and Vee are still together today.
In 2018, Javi’s girlfriend Lauren Comeau gave birth to their son, Eli. They then welcomed a baby girl, Maizee, in 2024, and got married in April 2025. Lauren announced her pregnancy with baby No. 3 four months after the wedding.
Chelsea Houska
Chelsea had a tumultuous relationship with her high school boyfriend Adam Lind, whom she shares daughter Aubree with. They dated on-and-off throughout the beginning of Teen Mom 2, but ultimately split in 2012.

Since 2014, Chelsea has been in a relationship with Cole DeBoer. They got married in October 2016 and share a son, Watson, born January 2017, and daughters Layne and Walker, born in August 2018 and November 2020, respectively.
Chelsea and Cole have starred on three seasons of the HGTV show Down Home Fab, which premiered in 2022.
Meanwhile, Adam welcomed another daughter, Paislee, with girlfriend Taylor Halbur in 2013, but he lost visitation after a drug arrest in 2017. He and Taylor are no longer together. While Aubree lives with her mom and Cole, Chelsea said in 2023 that there’s no longer any drama when they see Adam.
