Gordon Ramsay celebrated a major family milestone when his daughter, Holly Ramsay, got married on December 27. Nearly three weeks later, the celebrity chef shared some photos from the big day, along with a sweet anecdote about a special moment they shared before he walked her down the aisle.
Holly tied the knot with Adam Peaty more than a year after they got engaged in 2024. Her dad was beyond proud to be by her side when she made their union official.
“One of the most exciting car journeys ever in a father’s life is on the way to the Church with your beautiful daughter,” Ramsay recalled on Instagram, with the first photo of his wedding dump showing him and Holly holding hands in the backseat of a car. “Incredible conversations and helping her to stay calm and relaxed ahead of our walk down the aisle.”
He called it “a moment I’ll never ever forget,” and also included photos of him and Holly on the dance floor and walking down the aisle. There was also a picture of Gordon giving a toast at the nuptials, as well as him and his daughter practicing their first dance.
In a previous Instagram post from Holly’s wedding day, Gordon gushed over how excited he was to be part of the affair. “I’m truly so lucky being able to walk this beautiful bride down the aisle and gaining an incredible son in law @adamramsaypeaty !” he wrote. “I love you so much @hollyramsaypeaty and couldn’t be a prouder Dad xxx.”
Holly shared her own series of professional photos from the big day. “The moment we became husband and wife 🤍,” she captioned her post, which included various photos of her and her husband in the church as they tied the knot.
Meanwhile, in British Vogue’s post about the wedding, it was noted that Gordon was “extremely” involved in the food for Holly’s nuptials. He commented on the post, “Perfect wedding and such wonderful guests to witness your beautiful wedding congratulations to you both ❤️.”
