The K-drama leaves viewers with a few questions, including whether Mu-hee ever succeeded in finding her absent mom. When Mu-hee returns from her trip to locate her, the actress reunites with with Ho-jin, after he’d agreed that they should temporarily break up while she faced her painful past. Mu-hee’s Do Ra-mi alter ego is revealed to actually take after her mother, who tried to poison both Mu-hee and Mu-hee’s dad years ago. Her hallucinations and split personality are a trauma response.
Back together again, Mu-hee and Ho-jin kiss, signaling that they’re both ready to move on together. They’re both finally speaking the same language after Mu-hee tried to protect herself by pushing him away. “They don’t always understand each other, yet nevertheless they learn how to understand each other’s hearts,” Go Youn-jung told Tudum.
