François Arnaud may be in what’s probably the most talked-about show on the internet right now, but he’s been tight-lipped about his personal life. That didn’t stop interviewer Andy Cohen from asking if Arnaud was off the market, amid fan speculation that the actor is dating his Heated Rivalry costar Connor Storrie.

Arnaud, who plays Scott Hunter on Crave’s gay hockey romance, appeared in the January 19 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. The host snuck in the question that many corners of the internet have been asking since Heated Rivalry skyrocketed in popularity: “François, are you single these days?” Cohen asked, straight to the point.

The 40-year-old didn’t hesitate to respond. “None of your f**king business,” Arnaud said with a smile, making both Cohen and fellow guest Mary J. Blige laugh. He stuck to silence as Cohen said, “It’s not [my business], but I try. I’ve got to try. Right, Mary?”

Arnaud’s blunt response comes after he was spotted in JFK airport with Storrie, after the two wrapped up a week of Heated Rivalry press in New York City. It sparked online harassment from some fans, which the Toronto Star asked the actor about.

“In general, fans have been incredibly positive and respectful. For the ones that aren’t, I think it’s a lot of younger fans who don’t really understand the difference between reality and fiction,” Arnaud answered in a January 17 interview. “I honestly wish they would just rewatch the show, because it doesn’t seem like they got its message. Pay attention more closely. Did we watch the same show?”

The day before, Arnaud seemingly addressed the situation via Instagram post, sharing a collage of costar Hudson Williams holding up his middle fingers to the camera, covered by heart emojis. Arnaud included a photo of himself following suit. “Learning from the very best. 👑 @hudsonwilliamsofficial,” he wrote in the caption.
