Vanderpump appeared on Live With Kelly and Mark in April 2025 and admitted that keeping a marriage strong in the public eye is a “challenge.” She also noted, “If anybody expects imperfect beings to have a perfect relationship, I think that that’s foolish.”
But that hasn’t stopped Vanderpump and Todd from being able to make their marriage work. Vanderpump and Todd met in 1982 when she was 21 and he was 37. She was picking her brother up from his job at a nightclub in London and learned that a manager was missing, so Vanderpump stepped in to help out.
She shared on the Straight Up With Stassi podcast in 2018 that Todd walked in while she was working in the club. “It was the strangest thing,” she admitted. “But he was wrong for me in every sense of the word. He was 16 years older than me. He was a playboy, running around town with his trousers ’round his ankles. And I was dating somebody else. I just looked at him and there was an instant connection.”
Vanderpump was reluctant to give Todd her number. She went to America, then ran into Todd when she returned to London six or eight weeks later. They got engaged six weeks after their first date and tied the knot three months later.

Of the decision to adopt, Vanderpump explained on RHOBH, “I knew very well that I could have more children biologically, but the adoption was my choice. I’d heard of Max, who was in foster care, and I just wanted him. I just said I’d have him before I even got there.”
Through Pandora and her husband, Jason Sabo, Vanderpump and Todd have two grandchildren, as well.
Do Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd still live at Villa Rosa?
Yes, Villa Rosa is still Vanderpump and her husband’s lavish home in Beverly Hills. While the reality star has made a number of real estate investments over the years, Villa Rosa is her main base.
She bought the property in 2012 and debuted it for fans on Season 3 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In December 2025, Vanderpump was asked if she’d ever sell Villa Rosa, and she admitted, “I can never say never.”
The restaurateur also pointed out that she has “a lot of animals” on her property. “It’s very unlikely that I’d be zoned for livestock [anywhere else] in Beverly Hills,” she explained. “So I can have little horses there.” Vanderpump clarified, “I’ve got a house in Vegas, but no, my residence is still [Villa Rosa].”
She also captioned a September 2025 Instagram post, “Oh, it’s good to be back at Villa Rosa It’s been a long two months away.”
