Who Is Caitie Parker on ‘Tell Me Lies’? All About Her Connection to Lucy & Stephen

Does Stephen DeMarco (Jackson White) have his sights set on a new victim? The Tell Me Lies fandom is buzzing over Caitie Parker’s (Taia Sophia) return and what Stephen’s ultimately got planned for her.
The character, who first appeared in Season 2, returned in the January 20 episode of the third season. As Stephen continued to torture Lucy (Grace Van Patten) over the tape where she admits to falsely accusing Chris (Jacob Rodriguez) of rape, and dealt with the aftermath of his showdown with Diana (Alicia Crowder), he pulled up Caitie Parker’s Facebook page.

Who is Caitie Parker on Tell Me Lies?
Caitie Parker first appeared in Season 2 as a fellow student in Marianne’s (Gabriella Pesson) class alongside Lucy and Bree (Cat Missal). Caitie later accused Lydia’s (Natalee Linez) brother, Chris, of raping her and reported him to the school. Pippa (Sonia Mena) was also sexually assaulted by Chris, but she didn’t go public with her account.
In the penultimate episode of Season 2, as Molly (Katherine Hughes), Evan (Branden Cook), and others discussed the Chris situation, Lucy defended Caitie, saying she wasn’t lying. Lucy claimed that she had also been sexually assaulted by Chris. This was a lie to seek justice for Pippa by getting everyone to take the allegations seriously.
However, Lucy’s lie only got her into trouble and deeper into the trenches with Stephen. In Episode 4 of Season 3, Caitie popped up again when she asked to meet with Lucy. Caitie explained that there wasn’t enough evidence to pursue a case against Chris last semester, but said she had heard about Lucy’s claim and thought about reopening her case. “Chris could finally be held accountable,” Caitie said. Lucy, obviously well aware of her lie, told Caitie to do what’s best for her, but said she didn’t want to be part of it.
How does Stephen know Caitie Parker?
From what we’ve seen, Stephen and Caitie Parker have no association other than being students at Baird. In Episode 4, Stephen pulled up Caitie’s Facebook page after confronting Diana about her pregnancy and abortion plans, which sparked speculation amongst fans about how he might try to hurt Diana using Caitie.
Stephen seemingly created the “Chris is a Rapist” Facebook group that told the world Chris sexually assaulted Caitie and Lucy. Considering Lucy made that tape (for Stephen!) where she confessed to lying about Chris raping her, Stephen’s move created an even bigger hole for Lucy. Since he wasn’t in control of the situation with Diana, Stephen decided to tighten his grip on Lucy. Remember, he openly admitted that he wants to hurt Lucy. And because she lets him, his anger at Diana was redirected at Lucy.
Will Caitie Parker return in Season 3?
Since this is Tell Me Lies, anything is possible. Could Stephen and Caitie have a deeper connection than what we’ve seen? The show loves to drop tidbits of information that we don’t get full context about until later (i.e., Bree and Wrigley). However, Caitie’s likely just an innocent bystander in the ongoing Stephen and Lucy chaos.
