Yes, Dempsey and Fink are still together. Fink did previously file for divorce in January 2015, but the two ended up getting back together that same year and calling off the divorce in 2016.
“Our marriage was not something I was prepared to let go of,” Dempsey told People. “I didn’t feel like we had done all the work. And we both wanted to do that work. That’s where it started.” He revealed that he and Fink “worked on [their] issues and improved” their relationship by “prioritizing” the marriage. “Our union has to be the priority,” he added. “I wasn’t prepared to give up on her and she wasn’t either. We both wanted to fight for it.”
In July 2024, Dempsey paid tribute to his wife for their 25th wedding anniversary. “It feels like just yesterday!” the actor wrote, alongside a photo from the pair’s wedding day. “I can’t get over how quickly the time has gone by. Life would not be the same without you, your vision, your kindness, your compassion, your love, your sexiness, your intelligence, your warmth, your friendship, your wisdom. The love of my life, I’m truly grateful for all that you do and who you are. You’re an incredible mother, wife, friend, and partner.”
How did Patrick Dempsey meet his wife?
Dempsey and Fink met in 1994 when he came into her hair salon as a client. Fink explained that her coworkers often jokingly swapped out customers’ names for celebrities on their client sheet, so she was shocked when Dempsey actually walked in for his scheduled appointment.
“I went in where she was working, and I looked across the room at her and was blown away,” Dempsey admitted to People in 2023. At the time of the 1994 meeting, Dempsey and Fink were both in other relationships, but he recalled that she was “always flirting” over the years. They finally got together in 1997.

Fink is a celebrity hairstylist and makeup artist. She has worked with celebrities including Kristen Stewart, Emma Roberts, and Kate Winslet. Fink is also the founder of a clean beauty makeup line.
She launched the brand in 2021 after previously owning Delux Beauty, which focused on products that could be applied by hand. “I wanted to make my current brand cruelty-free and vegan, utilizing natural and organic materials where I could find ingredients and making it really easy to use,” Fink later explained of the switch.

The Dempseys are parents to three children. Their daughter, Talula, was born in 2002, followed by sons Sullivan and Darby in 2007.

In 2023, Talula, a pastry chef, launched her website Talula’s Kitchen. Per the company’s website, Talula’s dessert catering and specialty pastry business offers “cookies, tartlets, seasonal bundt cakes, and more.” She also sells a chocolate chip cookie mix.
Meanwhile, the twins are still teenagers, having graduated high school in 2025.

Dempsey’s first wife was Rochelle “Rocky” Parker, whom he met when they were both starring in a theater production of Brighton Beach Memoirs. The two had a 26-year age gap, and she played his aunt in the show.
Dempsey and Parker in 1987 got married when he was 21 and she was 48. They divorced in 1994.
“I think I needed a mother,” he said in a 2006 interview with Diane Sawyer. “There were a lot of negative things that I’m still undoing from it. She had a son one year older than me.”
Parker died at 74 years old in 2014 after battling throat cancer.
