Who Is ‘American Idol’ Contestant Bryant Thomas’ Girlfriend? Inside His Viral Relationship
The Season 24 premiere of American Idol will feature an audition from Bryant Thomas, a singer who has gone viral on social media for his cover song performances in the shower.
Bryant confirmed his audition in an Instagram post, noting that he’s been “dreaming about this moment since [he] was a kid. Singing into hairbrushes. Performing for bedroom walls. Believing in something before I had any proof it would ever believe in me back. Just a boy from Mobile AL. Somewhere along the way, those little dreams turned into real life.”

Who is Bryant Thomas’ girlfriend?
Bryant’s girlfriend is Alyona Palhof. While she is the face of his social media videos (more on that below), her own digital footprint is very minimal.
Per her public Facebook page, Alyona lives in Boynton Beach, Florida. It’s unclear when Alyona and Bryant started dating. Her first public photo with him was in April 2025. Alyona’s Instagram page is private.
How did Bryant Thomas and his girlfriend go viral?
Bryant and Alyona went viral when she began posting GRWM (“Get Ready With Me”) videos on social media that featured him singing in the shower in the background. Fans fell in love with Bryant’s voice, which led to an entire series of similar videos.
The aspiring artist often sings country songs, and he’s performed a lot of Taylor Swift tracks. The videos feature Alyona reacting to her boyfriend hitting the big notes while continuing her getting ready process in the mirror.

Bryant’s face is never shown in the videos. Instead, the clips are solely focused on Alyona, with just Bryant’s voice heard in the background, leaving fans curious about what he looks like.

While Bryant does not reveal his face in any of the shower singing videos on Instagram and TikTok, he is a public figure on his band’s website. He also appears in a photo on Alyona’s Facebook page from April 2025, as seen below.

Fans will get a better look at Bryant’s face when he appears on American Idol, which he confirmed in his Instagram post about his audition. “I finally get to step out from those four shower walls … to the stage,” he wrote. “This is my identity reveal. And this is the moment I’ve been chasing my whole life.”
