‘Beast Games’: Are Monika & Jim Still Together After Season 2?
Neither Monika Ronk nor Jim Bentayou won Beast Games Season 2, but they did win big — in more ways than one. Besides each earning a chunk of change in bribes, Monika and Jim walked away from the reality competition series with a romance. (If shows like Survivor have proven anything, competition and romance aren’t mutually exclusive.)
Not long after meeting on MrBeast‘s game show, Jim asked Monika to be his girlfriend. They went a step further by saying “I do” after two weeks of knowing each other. The development didn’t make it into the main show, but Jim’s proposal and the couple’s impromptu ceremony were shown in an extra Episode 5 behind-the-scenes clip on Prime Video.
Beast Games Season 2 was filmed in the summer of 2025, which begs the question: Are Monika and Jim still together? Did they really get married during the show? Swooon has all the latest updates on players 173 and 152 below.
Are Beast Games‘ Monika and Jim married?
Jim explains in the aforementioned clip that he thinks their union is technically a “common law marriage,” aka a legally recognized marriage between people who didn’t obtain a marriage license or get their marriage solemnized by a ceremony.

Jim goes on to explain that he gave Monika, who found a veil for the ceremony, a ring fashioned out of Legos. “And neither one of us asked for a prenup, if anyone asks, if she wins,” he said, later explaining that they weren’t going to tell their families until the show aired. “I’m going to be a stay-at-home dad when she wins. I’m gonna clean the house.”
“Till death or divorce in six months do you part,” said fellow player Jack, who acted as officiant.
Are Beast Games‘ Monika and Jim still together?
On Valentine’s Day — a couple of weeks ahead of the Beast Games‘ Season 2 finale — Monika confirmed that she and Jim were still together. “I told Jim in Episode 1 that he was coming home with me 🫶🏼” she commented on Instagram.

The update arrived after Monika shared photos of their nuptials on January 14. “Why fight for an island when you can fight for love instead? Shoutout to @jack.p.mckenna for being the best ordained minister,” she captioned the post on Instagram.
The couple has since made a joint YouTube account, with the first video documenting their first Valentine’s Day together. Jim took Monika — who moved to Florida months earlier to be with Jim — to the beach to watch the sun rise. “I love you,” Jim said. “I’m excited about today. Valentine’s Day, it’s about finding our peace with each other.”
They went on to do hot yoga and check out the Morikami Japanese Garden. After capping off the day with a dinner date, the couple showed a glimpse of their home, sitting on the couch with their framed Beast Games jerseys hanging on the wall above them. Jim said he had about a hundred date ideas for Monika, which they’ll continue to post on their YouTube channel.
