Craig Conover is newly single on Season 11 of Southern Charm, following his split from Paige DeSorbo, and he hasn’t seemed to have any trouble with the ladies. On a recent episode, Salley Carson admitted to having a crush on him, but he ultimately friend-zoned her to pursue her friend (and new cast member) Charley Manley.
The January 28 episode will feature Conover and Manley’s first date, with sparks flying between the pair. Of course, this was filmed several months ago at this point, so where do the two stand now? Scroll down for what we know about their relationship and this new love triangle.
Are Craig Conover and Charley Manley dating?
No, Conover and Manley are not dating. While we’ll have to wait to see how things play out between them on Southern Charm, he confirmed on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in December 2025 that he’s single.
Although Conover and Manley aren’t a romantic item, they are in a “good place,” she recently told Decider. “At the end of the day, we really were friends before we went on a date or two. But yeah, I think we’re in a good place.”
What happened between Craig Conover, Charley Manley, and Salley Carson?
When Manley joined Southern Charm, she, Conover, and Carson started hanging out “as friends,” she told Decider. But the lines started to get blurred during one late-night hot tub session, after which Carson spent the night at Conover’s, as documented on Southern Charm. At the time, he played coy about what happened between them, quipping, “What happens in the hot tub, stays in the hot tub.”
However, when Carson confessed to Conover that she had a crush on him, he replied, “I just don’t see it. We’re just friends.” Of course, this led Carson to wonder, “If you don’t see yourself being in a relationship or moving down that path, then why are you and me hanging out in a hot tub until 4 am?” Conover replied, “I was like, ‘Oh, cool. Maybe we might do something. Maybe this might go somewhere.’ But then it didn’t.”
Conover accused Carson of “reading into” the interactions they had. He then proceeded to ask Manley on a date, which we’ll see during the January 28 episode.
Meanwhile, Manley has insisted that she didn’t feel like she was “overstepping” by accepting Conover’s offer to go on a date. “She had explicitly told me that she did not like him like that and that she had crushes on Austen [Kroll] and a couple other people,” Manley said on the Southern Charm after show. She also referred to Carson’s inconsistent feelings about Conover as “whiplash.”
Carson, on the other hand, said Manley was fully aware of her feelings for Conover. “I would text her all the time and be like, ‘I’m feeling this way about Craig. Like, I don’t really know what’s going on, but there’s definitely flirtatious things going on between us. There’s chemistry in his hot tub,'” she shared.
Are Charley Manley and Salley Carson still friends?
Yes, according to Manley’s Decider interview, she and Carson remain friends following the love triangle drama.
“Salley and I really are so close. We are constantly texting, talking on the phone,” Manley insisted, adding that she actually called Carson “right after” Conover asked her out. “It wasn’t on camera, but as soon as he left my gallery, I immediately called her and told her that he asked me on a date and that I was going,” she explained.
Meanwhile, things also seem to be amicable between Conover and Carson. In January 2026, she celebrated her birthday with several Southern Charm costars, and while Conover wasn’t in attendance, she assured a fan in her Instagram comments section, “He was invited!!! He was unfortunately out of town.”
