‘The Valley: Persian Style’: What Happened to Golnesa Gharachedaghi & Dennis DeSantis?
Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi is back in the spotlight on The Valley: Persian Style. Nearly five years after the series finale of Shahs of Sunset, Gharachedaghi is continuing to let fans into her life on The Valley spinoff show.
The show’s first season has highlighted her relationship with Dennis DeSantis. The two started dating in 2013 and were briefly together before becoming “best friends” and eventual business partners. Gharachedaghi was married to Shalom Yeroushalmi from 2017 to 2018, then had a baby in 2020, but she eventually reconciled with DeSantis and married him in November 2024.

Why was Golnesa Gharachedaghi and Dennis DeSantis’ marriage annulled?
Gharachedaghi and DeSantis annulled their marriage just 10 days after they tied the knot. In a December 2024 interview on SiriusXM, Gharachedaghi explained that she only married her on/off partner as a reaction to her feelings about another man in her life. She did not name the mystery man, but referred to him as “BJ.”
“I would never want to be married to Dennis,” Gharachedaghi said. “I had to do what I had to do in order to accomplish the end result. I think it was one of those things where I needed to get burned in order to realize I was just heartbroken and very much in love with BJ.”
While speaking to her Valley: Persian Style costars on an episode of the show, Gharachedaghi claimed, “A week after we’re married, he’s with my friend.” She reiterated the story about wanting payback on a mystery ex, adding, “I didn’t really want to marry Dennis, so it’s kind of like karma’s a b**ch. Regardless of that, his actions were f**ked up, point-blank.”
Meanwhile, DeSantis insisted that the hookup happened “after” the relationship ended, and Gharachedaghi told him she didn’t want to be married to him anymore.
Where do Golnesa Gharachedaghi and Dennis DeSantis stand now?
On The Valley: Persian Style, Gharachedaghi and DeSantis reunited for the first time since their breakup. The meeting took place after DeSantis wished Gharachedaghi a happy Mother’s Day in May 2025. During their conversation, they argued about the timing of DeSantis moving on with someone else.
In a subsequent episode, Gharachedaghi revealed that she was keeping DeSantis, who was now engaged to someone else, on as her business partner and invited him to Adam Farahan’s birthday dinner. At the event, Reza Farahan and Mercedes Javid went off on DeSantis for how he handled the situation with their friend.
While Gharachedaghi did not contribute to the conversation, she later said in a confessional, “It’s for him to understand that I’m not the only one who thought his actions were wrong.”
Is Golnesa Gharachedaghi in a relationship now?
Gharachedaghi is currently single. She joked in a January 2026 interview with Parade, “I’m looking for husband number three to divorce.” However, she then clarified, “I hope I never get married again.”
Still, the Bravo star clarified, “I am looking for a relationship. I just started. I want to get into the dating scene. I don’t know how that works in L.A. I don’t know how to do the apps and stuff like that. Maybe just, like, someone will appear for me. I don’t know. I’m supposed to be manifesting. That’s what they’re telling me: manifest!”
How did Golnesa Gharachedaghi have her baby?
Gharachedaghi had her baby through in-vitro fertilization (IVF) with an anonymous sperm donor. Her son, Elijah, was born on April 27, 2020.

Before getting pregnant, Gharachedaghi had her fallopian tubes removed in an emergency surgery that saved her life. After the procedure, she was unable to get pregnant naturally.
When she was ready to have a child, Gharachedaghi considered having a male friend donate sperm to be the father, but wound up using a service that found her a compatible, anonymous donor instead.
